I did think US would do something for us today but seems a bit flat.

110 would be a great outcome. Anything above 112 next week I’d be ecstatic with as it puts the 90p region ever further away.

Hi botbot, Boris to be reviewing travel, or some sort of it on the 5th. I know travel sector is pushing boris to release vaccine traffic light system so they can start to plan travel. I think anyway.

There’s a debate on the other thread of 90p or 100p being the bottom. If we can get above 112 before the 5th April I would say 100p is bottom. If we are still here. 103-105 then 90p could well be bottom again.

That’s still only 104.5 in our money on a exchange rate of 145. But the main thing was that it was green :)

This news was apparent on Monday with most analysts reporting it to be a very high percentage of being voted so I don’t think it will be of a surprise.
If the sp can creep above 112 in the next week then this may mean that 100p is the bottom.

If we’re at the 103-104 mark come the 4th then yes, 90 is very very possible. Whatever the outcome, it will be final and they won’t be pushing it back after this, so it will give dates in which we can look forward to.
Otherwise the travel industry will be dead and no country wants that for obvious reasons.

Good start so far lol

Why would all holiday/travel stocks suddenly take a reversal then. These stocks are based on sentiment at the moment so I thought it would broke the 100 or at the very least hovered today. Doesn’t make sense.
Also Ryanair has posted that they’re not giving refunds on any holidays/flights etc which seems to be a huge gamble.

Heart was in my mouth this morning when I seen it dip to 99 so I turned my phone off lol. Timing is absolutely everything, of I’d took profit Wednesday it would have been a great opportunity today. Obviously hinds sight is a wonderful thing but you either time it right, or you don’t.

Let’s hope tomorrow is at least something not negative anyway. So was the boost Merkel related or a case of all markets have taken a beating so investors looking for opportunity. As everything seemed to follow the same course today.

Was nice to see the bounce at 100 which does signal that there is still interest in this stock on a big level. But not out of the water yet.
One of those cases where wish had more to put on but now I just have to wait it out instead now.
