Hey guys, do you know if there’s any updates coming from COP26 so far? Thanks :)

It’s more the fact that it’s government contracted along side big private investors that interests me. Guaranteed money to fund the project with the prospect of thousands of new jobs to become available. If that doesn’t wet the appetite of potential investors confidence of a stronger balance sheet then I’m not sure what will.

We already know that engines are operating at a minimum of 50% (excluding business cargo aviation) already with flights being ramped up daily so I’m already confident the balance sheet is going to be very good in the next earnings reports.

As I said above, a true brexit would be setting up our own smr to supply our own green energy. Will be great for Britain in the long run. Fingers crossed

Realistically if Boris doesn’t follow through with SMR and go full steam ahead with it then it contradicts his argument for brexit and a better Britain. EDF is French so we rely heavily on France to power our homes, business etc etc. We know we have funding for it but what we really want is factual evidence and dates of when this can begin as I don’t believe we’ve really had that yet.

Very interesting from rolls Royce. Stating SMR wouldn’t be producing energy until the end of the decade.
Also engines in the sky as of 2 weeks ago were at 50% so will definitely be higher than this now.

Yeh good article with good news. Thought this kind of cemented the contract but must have already been fully priced in judging by today’s movements.

Thought with Airbus earnings and good sentiment rolls may have followed but, all stocks seem to be pulling back.

I got roped in to not taking profit on the back of smr being next catalyst from the 145 region. Oh how I wish I’d taken that profit now. Would have had a nice few weeks off from share dealing etc etc. Gets a bit much sometimes lol
