I can categorically say I’m not a clone. Very odd for someone to copy my post. I re-read both to see if he had picked up on any errors I made. I’m hoping some on here would vouch for me as I’ve been here quite a long time. :)

S.A have been reporting a big uptick of hospitalisations but still also reporting only mild symptoms. Children especially.
I’m getting mixed messages so far.

Just a side note, UK records deaths based on 28 days of testing positive. So we really need 28 days to pass to see if any deaths are recorded.

It seems very odd that not one person has died once contracting omicron. You could assume someone in their 90s with underlying health issues would have died by now but to have zero deaths in over 10,000 cases seems very odd.

Trying 128 a couple of times today. Fees like there news brewing. On open I thought news had come out but was just a bullish morning. 2:30-4pm will reveal all.
5pm will probably be when we get omicron updated as well

Glad to see it’s not a repeat of Friday anyway. Talks of another 15% drop today have now dissipated…. For now.
Just remember this is now oversold so any light at the end of the tunnel is all it needs to make good grounds again.

One thing we do know os that ore markets tomorrow should be pretty accurate. Friday they were spot on. Heavy red, so if we do see some heavy red tomorrow premarket then we know we’re in for a tough day.

Curious to know peoples thoughts on media over the weekend. I personally think it’s not been as bad as what I expected when Friday morning struck.

It seemed to have fizzled out pretty quickly in the sense that reports are showing omicron to be less dangerous than delta.

Also WHO calling for all airports to remain open and not impose lockdowns.

No other economy can afford another full lockdown. The global economy will go into meltdown otherwise, inflation will rise exponentially, oil will follow, supply and food shortages.

They know the answer is to now live with it and offer the best defence possible. Small restrictions like face masks and social distancing may be implemented but can we really see another full lockdown of airlines. I personally can’t see that happening.

They did state that we are in no way in a worse position than we were last year… fact. We have the medicine and more knowledge to develop things quicker.

Flash crash, I have a feeling it won’t last long so hold tight.
