I hoping for some good announcements next week. A solid uptick in general trading and something around the carbon credits and the government. It’s the latter where the crazy value is here

If I was a competitor firm, I would say I’ll lend you the money which is secured on the rig and the licenses. If they hit helium, they do an equity raise and the lender is repaid.

If they don’t, you take the rig and the licenses on the cheap. This is of course predicated on them not needing a huge amount of money I.e less than the value of the rig and licenses combined

The sub 2 buys might turn out to be incredible. I just couldn’t buy anymore, although I wanted to!

I still can’t get over that she announced a need for funding before securing it. Could have easily just kept quiet and carried on conversations behind the scenes. It’s like she’s scared of being considered dishonest and feels she needs to always be completely transparent. But that’s not the case when you’re talking about funding.

God a loan from the Tanzanian government would go down a treat right now…

It’s an everything or zero situation. What I’m holding on to is that if they do actually get a commercial discovery, there are enough multiples involved to get even the most underwater shares above the cloud. So there is still hope. Whereas if you were 80% down in something which in an absolutely best case scenario might go up 30%, then you’re in a lot worse situation. Volatility is now our friend..

Just get me to January…

I really hope that they pinned down a share price with the investor, if it is equity, which is not then impacted by any fall we might now see because of this announcement. It’s always annoying that companies mention a raise, tank the price and then raise at a discount of that reduced price

Nice director buys. They wouldn’t just be throwing their money away. Also it suggests that an equity raise is not necessarily round the corner. Otherwise they would have just bought in through that

Interesting. He says they just need a different production system, which suggests that gas in water can be extracted in a commercial manner

I’ve emailed HE1 in relation to the exsolved gas position:

“I saw the announcement from Noble Helium this morning, which referenced the "exsolved gas" and concentrations of 2-3%.

I understand that given we are investigating primary Helium, we are more likely to come across Helium in water as the presence of Natural Gas appears to often aid the separation of the Helium from the water.

As I expect the situation of Noble is not too dissimilar to our own, can you please explain to what extent it is viable to extract the Helium from the water in such circumstances? Alternatively, is the idea that this is simply evidence of significant Helium in the basin, but you still need to drill into a reservoir where the gas has naturally separated and collected i.e. is free gas required for a commercial discovery?”

They’re not very smart when it comes to the cash raising. They should have planned to raise on the back of the collaboration agreement or at least before releasing a a reminder to the market about their lack of cash. Could at least have got it away at a slightly higher price

I think Nobile are doing an interview shortly. It would be good hear how they talk about dissolved gas. Their RNS is certainly written in an incredibly positive way, with multiple references to announcing a discovery and moving to monetisation.
