Re:ADVFN
Some excellent posters on that site, unfortunately ruined by certain character who is constantly trashing BGO and promoting pie in the sky (future) blockchain alternatives.. V much loathed and ignored poseur poster so suggest u ignore too.
Great month for BGO share price - with positive news all round. Generally successful Odey investments piled in at 180p last year upping their stake.. I see that level as my base camp on basis that they will have concluded BGO had bright long term future. GLTA
LTH SINCE 2012.. Yet another dip today.. Some would have it as a continuation of bgo SP death spiral.. I see it as a big buying opportunity on basis of high confidence from Ray and team. I am looking forward to forthcoming update and SP tick up. GLTA
Dropped email as suggested and got v quick response.. In summary, BGO v. confident going fwd, trading update July, newsworthy updates limited by partner permissions, Libra potentially interesting but v early stages. Took this as signal to hang on... JULY update will confirn wisity of that. GLTA
Bango announcements will be restricted to confidential agreements with the main players... Unrealistic to expect regular flow of good news. SP roller-coaster is feature of this share.. Once profits flow confirmed and embedded it will generate lot more interest and SP upcycle will start.
Long term holder since 2012..take any ST recommendation with pinch of salt.. As he has poor record on BGO calls to date. I'm in for the long term so highs n lows pass by regularly... BGO look better placed than ever to fulfill their global ambitions so next update hopefully financially positive.. Just don't want to hear that profit ramp up adversely delayed due to increasing staff costs with recent high level recruitments
Roller coaster share for sure.. Was 280p in 2012 etc.. Key is whether they deliver on EUS /fee growth.. Something they have consistently have done past 3+ years. They still have big instution support (Odey last top up at 180p), more (significant?) activations in the pipeline, global footprint and little investment to cope with EUS growth, Google n Netflix growth potential also BGO sheltered from Brexit implications with most of monies outside Europe.. They aren't too good at investor relations however.. Let's hope the Jan numbers do the talking.. GLTA
Good points.. Jan update hopefully all good. Could do with some of the previously trailed big contracts being announced before year end to kick start SP rise. Ever hopeful and holding Note that BOKU has seen big fall too so guessing tech stocks in general not in favour at moment. Also Brexit malarkey isn't helping all stocks IMHO.. If (big if!) that gets sorted it could light the blue touch paper and take BGO with it
Re: pondering Clearly volatile over past year.. BGO fundamentals and prospects coupled with year on year doubling of end user spend make it an interesting punt at relatively low SP. With further big activation deals to be confirmed (as BGO are stating) this is an ideal opportunity to dip your bread... How much is dependant on your risk appetite.. I for one am fully loaded since 2012 start of roller coaster ride. Believe in your instincts? Good luck
Agree SB.. Picked up some more on dip as think oversold given backdrop of their EUS growth history and confidence going forward. Fundamentals are getting stronger, just need Audiens to kick out impressive returns along with these much promised new activations and BGO will fly or maybe even soar towards previous highs at beginning of year.
Good post SB Assuming the recent SFO left without skeletons in the cupboard, this is a company that has delivered near doubling of key EUS for several years now and is hinting at more of the same if not greater uplift in near term. Obviously the SP has had a major correction these past few weeks and more since highs earlier in year. BGO is on the cusp of profitability and there seems to be good reason to at least hold or buy at present lows. It is a company under development so not sure why so many on these boards are giving it a good kicking just because it is loss making historically. The fundamentals and EUS growth story has not changed for the worse?
Agree Simon Said.. Awaiting flurry of big deal announcements to kick start SP rise..given great optimism from last company bullish update. Have dipped my bread again given over reaction in market.. Keep thinking that recent Odey buy-in at 180p is worth matching, so current price a steal. This ruler coaster ride surely has the momentum to climb high from present dip?
Appreciate great analysis, comment from BGO board key contributors. Lot of mention about EUS and variable % fees to gain additional EUS from big contracts. Given that data is seen as the new gold (via Audiens in BGO case) could the business model move to offering access to BGO DCB for nothing when data mining creates majority of income.. Sometime in the near future?
