cperkin CERP is one of about half a dozen shares on my oil and gas watchlist and, if any of the dozen or so that I’m invested in need to be replaced, it’s first in line, at least in theory. In practice I’m not up for having stakes in TRIN, TXP and CERP at the same time as that would be too much T&T. Unless, I suppose, CERP’s focus shifts elsewhere...

TCGLOVER As I’ve said before, the money that I was going to put into CERP went into TXP instead. Let’s see what the next couple of quarters bring for them both. If CERP hits 10p and TXP hits 20p, I will not have missed out on anything.

bigdouble I’d be interested to see if you can find a deramp in any of my posts. Just because a comment is less than 100% ramp, that doesn’t make it a deramp, except to those who can’t handle the thought of anything less than 26p tomorrow/80p next week. I thought you were a more patient investor than that.

Hellraiser1 If you had been here a bit longer you would have realised by now that we are, in fact, the same person! And rorker too. And SRS69, apparently. Basically anyone who takes a skeptical or even balanced view or just challenges some of the rampy nonsense.

Jarv55 Thanks, hope you�re not congratulating me too soon! It�s a bit of a punt. There�s a business there, but are the current shareholders going to be the ones who benefit from it? Time will tell.

in here as of today. Followed PHE for years but real doubts about that one so started researching this one just as it all went haywire. Through all the dust kicked up recently I think I can see a viable business. Time will tell!

Piltick Time will tell. With EQT falling further this morning I could not resist getting a toehold in there. I may end up in both PHE and EQT but for the moment I�ll be accumulating EQT as funds becomes available - which will be real punt given EQT�s recent history!

Piltick That could be right. Normally a CLN is just a CLN but the EQT BoD perhaps failed to appreciate what a horror a CLN without a fixed conversion price can be.

Piltick Spent a lot of time researching it but then it had a CLN issue on terms that you wouldn’t believe. It’s now trying to extract itself from that but it’s very hard to value against that background and I’m reluctant to trust a BoD that ever thought that funding like that was a good idea, even if it has now recognised its error.

Very lively today. Is this folk giving up on EQT and looking for an alternative?

PHE is almost starting to look strong and stable!

Maybe it’s not enough for the debt to look manageable, maybe we have to get closer to the point at which we start paying it off before the market will take notice. Seems like easy money for anyone with a little patience though.

Not seen a financing arrangement like this before, hope never to see one again. Was interested in taking a position here but looks like I need to let the dust settle and get my head round the permutations.

EQT as an alternative to PHE and it ain’t half cratering. Funding, funding, funding. More mature business but, on the face of it, less advanced technology. Can see that if I do decide to get back into gasification I will probably spread my risk between the two of them.

Flow77 Agreed, there�s no harm in a placing to fund something that is accretive and we are getting closer finding out if that accretive something is around the corner. Given all the variables and hurdles that PHE still has to deal with, that prototype will need to be running like a dream to get such a contract signed at this stage of the game. Maybe it is running like a dream though - that last RNS was certainly more informative and focused than before. Certainly made me feel a little less negative about PHE. Have also been watching EQT which has it problems and serves to highlight the gap in the market for disruptive gasification technology.

jabberba I wouldn’t get overconfident about funding - I’ve been following EQT for a while now and that story suggests that if PHE want to do anything significant in the near future, other than just keep the lights on, funding will be required.

a technical bod finally putting their head above the parapet, with all due respect to KA. Makes for a more focused update IMO. Would like to see more of this sort of thing. I’ve been researching EQT lately and have noted that their story isn’t uncomplicated either.
