Significantly bigger pre-tax loss than I expected - over £5mlllion FY as opposed to just under £2million H1. Will need to spend a bit of time later unpacking that.

A good plan would be for LK just to take the 9 April RNS and just update on everything that it covered, giving a properly comprehensive update.

Good point - there was an RNS written by a technical guy a while back which was more worthwhile - more from him would be just the ticket.

Hellraiser1 That�s the plan. I nailed my colours to TXP�s mast at around 13p when CERP was around 5p so it will be interesting to see when I get back from my holiday at the end of July whether that has worked out for me. I reckon that your short term expectations for CERP are probably unrealistic while my short term expectations for TXP are probably realistic. Time will tell who is right, quite soon now in fact.

ever read their old PHE posts and reflect on how far off the mark their expectations now were? This latest RNS made me fairly angry - seems like a classic case of the AIM CEO pointing at the horizon and distracting shareholders from the poor progress that is being made with the matter in hand...

LLL Seriously? Of course it will. No-one imagines that CERP was profitable in H2. But will the full year pre-tax loss be anything like twice the H1 loss? I don�t think so. Isn�t that a more sensible question to ask?

LGO-fan Agreed, the window will definitely close at some point, sooner or later. There are certainly reasons why CERP could pop in the very near future but as I�ve said before the money that could have gone into CERP went into TXP (and then a bit more TXP) because I think that one is more likely to pop in the short term. So far TXP is ahead but it�s all still to play for. If this works out I will end up with a full whack of TXP and the cash to buy a full whack of CERP. As I already have a shedload of TRIN, this means serious overexposure to T&T, but there you go. As long as I don�t go mad and start looking at RRL, I have a fighting chance of getting away with it...

HH Agree with you about the bad old days and reasonably comfortable with LK�s current approach but it occurs to me that their planning for the SWP must now be well underway. If as an anniversary present or as part of the Q2 update LK announces that he will definitely be kicking the SWP off with a deep well targeting three levels and paid for out of existing funds, the blue touchpaper will have been well and truly lit. It could happen and this is certainly a risk that I am taking staying on the sidelines waiting for something else to pop and fund a stake in CERP. Rules is rules though.

J99MES LK is cautious and principled so he would probably (a) challenge the assumption that BR will be there for another full season and (b) query whether it would be a good thing for Scottish football...

Hellraiser1 All good playground stuff, but, seriously, since you are saying that I am posting �complete rubbish�, are you going to back that up with any arguments? At all? What is it that you disagree with and why?

Hellraiser1 If folk had to be invested in CERP to post on here the BB would end up stuffed with cheerleaders talking a load of rampy nonsense. We�ve certainly seen that on here before. I have no axe to grind and am just trying to figure out what is actually going on with CERP, the good, the bad and the ugly. If you have done your research you will no doubt be able to show me exactly how what I�m saying about CERP is such �complete rubbish�. So go ahead.

Will keep an eye out for the May update, but, as that probably won�t emerge this month, it will likely be overtaken by CERP�s own Q2 update.
