I've made it clear enough in the past that I short via spread bets - the full bhuna is not for the likes of me (I did once ask my broker but got the Meatloaf response).

PB talked about the first week in November (possibly he meant the first full week in November) for Coho-1 flow test results and Cas-1 logs. Not expecting anything before then, certainly not expecting anything more this month.

The financial gain is through watching and learning from CERP how not to do it and keeping companies like CERP with CEOs like Leo Koot out of your portfolio. I have not had a position in CERP, long or short, for two years now.

On a 4500 foot drill with a 45% geological (geological!) chance of success that might flow 200bopd, at least for a while, if everything works out? Not even on the radar of the “big operators”. The only thing that any AIM-listed T&T operator is doing in the near future that might be of interest to a “big operator” is TXP’s Royston gas well.

CERP is not cash positive. It’s cash burn is very much the elephant in the room. If Leo Koot hadn’t skipped the last two quarterly updates you would see just how bad the cash position is.

I know on the basis of what posters have said on here and on ADVFN over the years about their stake in LGO/CERP relative to their other investments/assets, cross-checked against your own list (on which, you must admit, holdings almost never go down). Anyone who has been paying attention to the CERP LSE and/or ADVFN BBs over the last few years has to acknowledge the truth of this.

So what did you make of the T&T Budget? A small positive on SPT (a lot) more than negated by the significant negative on loss relief and the negative cash flow consequences of the new straight line capital allowance regime?
