I totally agree, medications usually switch your symptoms off but don’t fix anything and cause many other problems. That’s not to say you don’t take them because it’s all about quality of life.
Personally I think western medicine is so 1 dimensional.
GP’s spend around one day on nutrition in their whole term training.
90% of the body’s problems come from nutritional deficiency’s one way or another. If it’s bad diet or long term high stress.
What western medicine won’t recognise is things like Nutrionist deficiency’s don’t just reset when you have children, that deficiency is passed on to your child. One of the reasons why autism and ADHD etc (apart from heavy metals in vaccines) is that people are depleted of magnesium etc because of high stress levels. Stress wrecks magnesium and it is responsible for almost every cellular transaction in the body.
People are living in cost of living crisis’s and some living well beyond their means to fit in, but dying inside due to stress to uphold such an image. Inside they are completely depleted.
Many auto immune diseases stem from unresolved emotional trauma. Western medicine would laugh at this, but I have seen so many people who have lost parents at a young age develop auto immune diseases at 30-40 from deep rooted trauma.
Other things that need to be taken into account is foods loaded with presticides that wreak havoc with the intestinal lining daily and causing leaky gut, these allow free radicals into your blood stream. Gluten is the same, avoid at all costs, but it’s in everything and no one is educated to know the damage it’s doing. (All because of GMO wheat) .
Your body is the most intelligent thing on this planet and is constantly wanting to heal, and it knows exactly how to if you give it the right environment.
Fasting a the most underrated healing practice on the planet, don’t eat constantly, do 18/6 intermittent fasting. Induce autophagy and let your body scavenge on dead cells and clear out the body. 3-4 meals a day is one of the biggest lies in the modern world it’s so unhealthy to constantly graze. We are not designed this way.
