The only way this can do a v shaped recovery is if it gets that bad it kind of starts again, huge amounts of bankruptcy’s that set up again with a clean slate, and I don’t see much positivity in that for the future.

Closed short at 102.5 this morning, very small profit. Waiting for 105 to go again

Hi guys, I looked in this morning and was shocked to see it blue, managed to open a short at 105 and still open, I don’t know why I do it because I haven’t really got the nerve for it but I just think this is going sub £1 still, early 90’s area.
I might be completely wrong, but is no one else watching the news and just seeing straight through all these lies? The desperation to keep everyone locked down and reluctant to lift is very worrying to me.
Even when the lift happens at the beginning of July at the very very best(it won’t) they are talking about harsh measures still, hospitality industry will be none existent, Business’s will be worse off because it’s back to full overheads and running costs with a quarter of the custom. Remember people actually beleive this **** and are scared to leave their homes now.

I’ll finish off by saying have a real think to yourself what’s going on here guys, I’m not ramping my position, I am openly bearish, but this does not add up and there is absolutely zero reason to buy here for at least a couple of months.

Other than that, I posted the other day when I thought I would see how easy these bounce back loans are I could have had 50k put in my account within days by clicking a few buttons. Some of the small print openly admits that the banks can’t check you ability to repay this loan So this is either the biggest bubble in history or a massive stimulus package to kick start economy’s before wiping the slate clean and starting again.

It of course could be something worse like an attempt to end capitalism from an organisation looking to take control of the world without firing a weapon and in which case there will be a complete collapse.(sounds silly but the nazis tried it)
If they start reintroducing second lockdowns I will start to wonder very seriously about that one,there will just be no business’s left which means no jobs and then everyone becomes dependant on the state=controlled.

It was certainly nothing to make me want to go long on this with an almost gaurenteed full q2 of lockdown anyway, I may be wrong but if this goes to 110 I’ll open a big short.
