Premier said it would stick with its proposal to raise $530m from shareholders as part of a refinancing despite the approach by Chrysaor, which snapped up the North Sea assets of ConocoPhillips last year in a $2.7bn deal.

Chrysaor, which was founded in 2007 and produces 200m barrels of oil a day, is not interested in acquiring Premier unless the debt is restructured, according to a person familiar with the matter.

Sounds like we will stick with what we have lined up or you can bid for us if you like... either way it should climb more from here you would think.

If Tony can’t price the equity how can how say what chysaor is no better for shareholders when we apparently don’t even know what we are dealing with yet? I don’t trust this snake one bit and I truly believe he is in this to line his and the creditors pockets. Watch him put a price on the Equity raise in the coming days now there’s others sniffing about and he can’t sign the lot over to ARCM.

I don’t know anything about chysaor really, how strong is their balance sheet? They sound very cash rich with recent purchases much larger

175m Mcap for a company set to produce 110k boepd, if chysaor have means to service the debt they could probably take this for £300m and have 4B tax credits.

But who knows, we’ve seen this before with apache.
