That’s exactly what I was going to write cash but I lost energy.
This deal is good for the situation we were in, the point is there isn’t many company’s running around with billions to pay of greedy creditors and I believe chysaor will have this stitched up by now to ensure the deal is done. Even with oil recovering I don’t think we would be any better off as a stand alone company when we were paying so much interest on debts and are very limited to capex spend going forward.
At least this way we can see 50p and a nice dividend.

Alfa Chysaor had a liability to pay us £100M if they were to change their mind on the deal, I can’t beleive we get to have that offer sat there As a safety net and just hang around until the oil price recovers and be open to another offer? I just highly doubt it but I actually hope your right and that it is a possibility.

Yes BOD indicated 25-30p to many on here who received reply’s on the subject. That was back then.
Also Analysts write hash story’s to suit their position, if you can come up with an explanation as to why a company soon to be churning out £1.5B a year profit at $50 oil can only be worth £2.7B and company’s making around £500B a year profit are valued at £6B plus I would love to see the figures behind their workings out.

That’s a fair assesment js88, as you say that was when oil was $40. The likes of aker and lundin have gained around £1B on their mcaps since then and we will be a much larger producer with no tax to pay on profits for years and less debt.
This is how I come to the £6B figure and I think I’m being reserved at that, 35p per share.

Do you honestly think chrysaor have given Pmo a lifeline and not had it put in writing that the only way out of this offer is shareholders to vote no and see where we end up from there? If we vote NO we are ****ed, and you think a multi billion pound outfit like chrysaor will just have thrown us this lifeline and left it open ended so when oil prices recover we can just throw it in their face? Also fair play to chysaor, they came in and put a deal on the table when the whole industry looked very grim, that’s business, you can’t just reject it now because things look more favourable, they wasn’t a que of company’s willing to do what they did.
Do the calcs and recognise the upside here, it’s 50% in the short term imo.

Did you read the links i posted last night? These are fundamentals that need to be compared to peers. Looked at their mcap and then value this accordingly

On the debt, as I understand they will only recover around 75% for their buy out.

How would the merger not happen? Regardless of oil price this is a done deal and to be honest We should be pleased with it now. Why go back to operating just to service debt and line ARCM pockets? I’d rather see them take a hit at 70% and we move forward without them

Again, anyome can spout nonesense without facts to back it up but why does everyone seem to play on this old assets like no other producer have older assets?The fact is we have plenty of new assets to replace them, hence this whole deal works for both.

I do like using T.A, as we have seen this week it can give you good idea of exit points(which I stupidly ignored) but I can’t see many people silly enough to sell at these levels?

Depending what the prospectus read really, that’s my initial target where I will be in a nice profit,Doesn’t mean I think it’s not worth more though.
