Well we have revenue and a pretty healthy one at that.
Will be great to see this in next year’s Accounts.
Should be a big driver in a move to the Main Market.
Have always taken a very basic approach to Hurricane Energy. After reading a Malcy’s note on HUR I looked at the pictures of the fractured granite and thought these are big fissures holding a lot of oil certainly not hairline cracks. Fine oil should flow very easily from these when it gets the chance. I did also think the granite structures must be very difficult to drill.
I frankly do not bother very much with C & P reserves and resource figures. I do not buy C type reserves not having a value. I simply believe that HUR is sitting one gigantic oil field made up of sub sections perhaps joined together.
I invested in HUR on these very basic observations and thoughts.
I suspect many on the BB think along these lines.
How much recoverable oil does the Rona Ridge hold?
Sporting estimates welcome
Hi extrader,
Nice one.
I am usually well covered.
Ron
I was not at the AGM.
I would take interrupted to mean an offer to take over the company ahich would be rejected.
Interrupt suggests something that happens then you carry on.imo.
Great to get all the feedback from those attending the AGM.
Thanks for sharing.
Pity Dr.T was not there. Disappointing for you and unexpected.
Did not get a chance to see the body language but did get a view of him and a message. My take on this is it was just a P R glitch and you should have been forewarned. Dr. T was where he had to be at critical time in the GWA drilling assessing the nature of the fractured granite, overseeing the drilling operations and looking for oil in the mud etc.
Cebo
Looks like you have started celebrating already.
Jk,
Be sure to take enough to pay for getting out again.
Ron
Hi Jk,
There could be border controls by that time.
If Hur comes good you will be able to bribe your way in.
Cebo. Was going to pull you up for cruelty to haggis but thought I had better not.Ron
Hoped it was an obious bit of humour.Ron
Cebo.Calling me a jock is racist.Wont report you this time. Thanks for the info.and taking the time.Ron
Hello. Have been following this BB for some time but have not contributed. I am not an oil man. I was educated in engineering and management. Most of my career spent solving engineering problems and mistakes inside hospitals etc.
To all who contribute oily information, facts, opinions and dig out published information thanks for sharing.
I became interested in H E on reading one of Malcys blogs and bought a few shares. I have added to these gradually. Still not a large shareholder, just have what I can afford.
My take and opinion on our fractured granite oil reservoirs with info. gleaned from this BB and HE published material is that they are massive and that oil will flow at very high rates. No doubt there will be drilling problems to be overcome. Drilling fractured granite cannot be a walk in the park.
There are uncertainties, fears, doubts, unknowns etc. which for me gave the chance to buy shares at reasonable levels.
I will not be selling my shares just sitting on them like a clucky hen enjoying the experience.
I cannot attend the AGM I live in Scotland but look forward to getting feedback.
Cannot see price sensitive information been given out at the meeting. Body language is the thing to look for when answering your questions that can tell you a lot.
How about these,
[1]Do you still think big oil fields tend to end up bigger.
[2]What are your intentions for Halifax? Could testing at Lancaster show they are joined at the waist? Do you have an opinion on how big Halifax could be?
