The point is the buck ultimately stops with the CEO whether he throws anyone under the bus or not he signed off the RNS. And ultimately has an element of control as to how to manage those timelines through how he manages his people, contractors and those he is paying to hit it! Along with setting the expectations of his shareholders. It goes back to under promise and over deliver.

If you are giving him until July based on your research and some have allowed for slippage also including myself. (I hope it doesn't slip but I'm prepared for that), there will be others who will not and ultimately will vent frustration. We simply can't moan that we don't like people moaning about missed timelines because they didn't set them. BA did lol

Elcobble, this happens when the CEO starts missing deadlines he announces. Ots natural for people to therefore be more and more pessimistic. First one wasn't hit, why would the second and so on and so on. This isn't the first one BA has missed so of course there will be doubt and as Toptiger says it's throws less certainty onto anything else timeline related in the future.
