tanzania is of course hugely significant archaeologically. it's where the our ancestors '**** habilis' evolved about two million years ago. the development is not entirely clear however, and there may have been even earlier 'humans'.

it would be exciting if the excavation for the pipeline found something significant, although there would be delays.
