I remember when Noble announced that LOI out of the blue Lorna seemed mighty pished that she had their announcement dumped on her. Maybe she didn't want us to know about the LOI because that was more of the back up plan while attempting to seal the purchace.

You claim Lorna is lying then proceed to do it yourself and you are expecting adult investors to swallow it. We can all have opinions but they should not be stated as fact.

According to Noble we were expected to spud in August following the rig on ship at the end of June.

That means Lorna has until the end of July before you can even make that claim as fact.

Secondly Lorna has only ever stated Qtr3 with no specific dates mentioned, so I call you out as being hypocritical when you claim Lorna has lied.

Grateful for your earlier information Skittish but on this comment I disagree. Yes as I said earlier time factor is highly likely the reason for Nobles decision, but on the "POSSIBLE" November rain and "WILL" be only one spud, are you hedging your bets there? lol. The heaviest rains generally fall in January and in recent years have been much less than the past, so no assumptions can be made. In saying that, there is a possibility of El Nino this year which could effect things. We will just have to wait and see, but then is no cause to alarm everyone with two options still available. All should cone clear in the next couple of weeks or so as I believe there is generally a time limit on these notifications.

They are determined to stay on schedule and from the tone of their RNS, my guess is they offred the chance of Marriot to HE1, but they would drill first, setting us back.

While clearly not ruling it out, HE1 have opted to try and force through the Sofori rig to remain on their own QTR3 schedule. While doing this, they know they have a back up position for Marriott as a QTR4 drill.

Having thought that through, I am happy that the board are actually making the right and sensible decision given the circumstances. Fingers crossed Sofori will come through and September it will be.
