Then perhaps Joe should show some respect for others with knowledge. A drill is built by and maintained by an engineer not by the button pusher. Engineering principles are the same whatever size of machine. Nobody said there may not be a down hole issue, but equally there is good reason to be taking it steady, not only from an engineering point of view, but because of the issues we faced at the last well.

To dismiss that is wilfully foolish. Nobody knows the facts, it's as simple as that and if we can't discuss ideas without dismissing somebody's knowledge and experience then what is the point? We may just as well be posting the crap he was complaining about.

Where you been for the last two years

Ok tons of steel stuck down a hole for two weeks and you just go full throttle from restart, without consideration for bedding in the new parts. Hmmm as an engineer, that would not be my recommendation. Steady as you go captain, better to get there than breakdown again

No nit at all. They a behind by sux days maximum. However that is not taking into account restarting tye drill, which in my view would not be run immediately at full speed. So to say massively behind is overstating the situation completely. Come back in a month and I might agree
