I don't know whether either of you saw my posts first thing about Golden Hydrogen and how it was formed from microbiology of depleted oil? I'd be interested to know your thoughts because, that being the case, that oil must have migrated and perhaps wouldn't be too far away. Wasn't suggested you were CP just that you have to play it the way you see it. From what I read into what was said I'm not so sure it will play out the way you expect because I get the impression it is not coming from a traditional reservoir. These results were coming from open hole tests and not via perforation in particular zones.

Trying to piece it together it seems they may have hit a high temperature 80° fault in the basement which is high enough to release the gas from the fluid allowing it to rise in the nitrogen carrier gas. I recall something being said not too long ago about helium could be migrating along underground rivers and thinking logically I am putting this together as a possibility. I may be totally wrong because I am no expert at all, but it might explain why they haven't done the tests you seek.

CPerkin That would apply for a conventional O&G well I agree, but indications are this is a unique find and it may well be they have tapped into the underground migration source which flows as it it produced. Lot's of questions to be answered yet, but they may not require conventional methods. Analysis is going on at the moment and we could have further news at any time, there is no specific clue as to time scale so I certainly am glad to be holding tight rather than risk being caught out by a stonker of an RNS

Blu my point is he seems to ignore the fact that Lorna clearly stated the well was unique and that they are gathering, analysing that data to formulate a full understanding of what they have. As a professional he should understand more than anyone what was being claimed and not simply poo poo the situation. I suspect he may have a little trade going on here himself. DJM, that is not the issue and I don't know the answer to the other questions. I am only explaining how H/L flags it up as over or under 99% above current if your gap is too wide. If the gap is more than a certain % it will flag up a warning. It is a warning, that is all, just in case people put in the wrong decimal place.
