I have to say, I'm no Apple fan. I'm a software developer, Apple won't allow me (or anyone) to write apps for iPhone, iPad etc without compiling through Apple hardware even though it's possible using a PC. This is a licencing issue not a technical one. My point is Apple only look after Apple and everyone else has to fall in line to do business with them.
I haven't heard of a repeat order yet, I'd like conformation of that and that Spire will continue to use CPX caps.

Having said all that the market does love a good Apple association, however tenuous.

How can we use AVX as a yardstick for CPX revenue? Unless it specifically mentions CPX or super-caps? AVX have many irons in many fires and if the EPS is down that doesn't mean that super-cap revenue is down.

I don't know of a specific application. But there must be lots. Battery hot swap? Welding? Battery life extender?...... Same as the smaller devices I guess, only on a larger scale.

parkez, with a ESR of 1 milliohm you don't want to add more resistance in the connectors so I guess welding the pins would give the least resistance. At it's peak current (375 Amps) 7.2 milliohms in the connectors would use up all its 2.7 volts.

It would. Many years ago I bought ASOS at 12p and a few weeks later I sold around 32p (from memory). I thought I'd done really well but they peaked at �75. That's a 625 bagger! I would have retired many years ago. I mistake I won't be making here....

Anyone care to speculate where this might be in 6 years? That's my target retirement age, unless some major bagging happens :-)
