I dare not read them on the off chance you're posting something useful (you sometimes do) but then I can't unread them. Hmmm, such a dilemma.

PP I know CAP-XX news flow is slow. But do we really need a stream of not relevant (here) news that we get from TV and other media sources already?

Why would you when you can buy in the market at 3p or less? Or am I missing something.
If you do take the offer then it's money in CPX's bank, so that in itself might be a reason to take the offer. I bought my last 50k shares last week at 3p and I'm pretty much taters deep with CPX now so won't be taking the offer, I hope others do though to aid CPX's working capital.

That's the point, we don't know if the power (energy) is "stored".

Claretjay, It is true to say, "energy will need to be harvested for the fingerprint reader" but the question is, is it acceptable for the fingerprint reader to "only" work while held against the terminal?
if the manufacturer of these cards decides it is, then there's a lot of money to be saved (from their point of view) by not fitting a super cap. I work in R&D and if we can save $0.02 in $25.00 by fitting a different component or only using 5 of something instead of 6 then that's what we do and so does the rest of the electronics industry. $0.02 multiplied up be 100,000's or 1,000,000 add up.
However, having said that if a selling point is a fancy display and multiple credit cards in the one card, which I seen bandied about online (not in real life) and fingerprint reading (stand alone) then I'd say a super cap would be essential.

I have to say, after reading that website and the fact that they supply a "sleeve" to first add your biometric data at home tells me that there is no energy store within the card (ie no supercap).
We make similar products (some of which are credit card sized receivers) that contain a pick up coil (transformer secondary) and are powered from a device that contains a transformer primary. Data is transferred between card and terminal while in close proximity. Those thin keyfob things (alarms, gym entry, etc) work in the same way.
So, I wouldn't hold your breath hoping cpx device are inside :-(

The difference between µF (micro Farad) and a mF (milli Farad) is 1000 times. A 100mF is 1000x bigger than a 100µF capacitor.
Many people use "u" to represent "µ" (Mu).
There's nothing special about a 100µF capacitor :-)

100µF is not a supercapacitor. I wouldn't get your hopes up.
