I would not worry to much about the above. FF had to vote with the others because its an environment issue and they had to give the impression that they were in favour. A high percentage of bills never make it passed the initial stages and when they do they are well watered down. You can rest assure that the oil industry are not sitting on their laurels right now and are lobbying and making plenty of noise in the background .Ireland would be classed as a joke if we were to stop development of our gas and oil filled waters because of the so called environmentalists.The government of the day will see that and hopefully the offshore industries future will be bright. Its funny that for a tiny country we always want to try and be the best for everything and the big boys don't give a damn.As the saying goes small jockies big whips.

I notice AC is proposing to take shares in Zen for 2018 instead of salary ... at current prices this will be approx 3m shares.He did this last year as well ... at present he is holding 4.5 m approx.plus 1.25m non interest.

Oil is up over $66 a barrel I think we can see this share well in excess of �2 in the coming days ... onwards and upwards.

Ireland imports 100% of its oil and 40% of its gas .. so it would be very foolish for any sitting government to ban off shore drilling. With Brixit looming and several other factors to take into consideration we should be encouraging companies to invest in our waters and regarding the vote last week when the opposition parties all became environmentalists for the day future debates on this subject will either be watered down big time or will never get past the post. PVR have proven reserves in Barryroe and lets hope they will get their farminee soon and get on with drilling.

Theres an article in the above newspaper today about Europa Oil &Gas and they are still very excited about offshore drilling and they possible reserves. They have also indicated that farm in/ out parties are not been put off by the latest Dail vote.

Don't worry about the existing licences they are all safe and probably worth more than ever now regarding any future legislation .... this will be well watered down if it ever gets through parliament ... lets wait for hopefully good news in the near future.

This share drifts very easy without news and small volume .... this is based in my opinion on punters who are not really stock market investors but more short term gamblers who expect a win or loss over a few days. Nothing has changed since the last RNS and I believe that a deal is being worked on and like all projects it take time especially when lawyers are involved ... they want their pound of flesh as well..... lets be patient I am sure TOR wants a successful outcome to this as well and lets not take notice of the posters who are praising his graces one day and calling him all the names under the sun the next.
