The assets are worth very little, they have a huge plant in Scotland and still have massive liabilities.

In the event of insolvency, shareholders will be wiped out, clearly there is no plan to rescue this company, the strategic investor is trying to bring " partners" on board.

The vultures will circulate and they will buy the assets for nothing.

They will need to raise again in 4 weeks time

If this drill goes wrong, and this is a possibility, they will be seriously strapped for cash and will not have a hope in hell of raising money.

They need to balance the risk and will need to do a deep discounted placing to even out the risk for holders coming in for the placing.
