Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
Why are some posters sooo embarrassing? And pathetic.
Genuine, intelligent Long-Termers are in no rush so shouldn't be making posts, demanding this and demanding that from the company. They know what's coming, eventually. And it most likely will.
Speculators, who only want a quick profit, are different, and are DESPERATE to be in and out, and so post ridiculously, embarrassing comments,
As IF the company give any **** about them. It's YOUR decision to speculate your money, not the company's. They're too busy building a long-term, meaningful relationship with their product and investors. Much like a meaningful, personal relationship. Obviously, speculators don't have meaningful, personal relationships with anybody and so don't understand the meaning of anything long-term and meaningful. It seems.
I watch various bulletin boards and am completely bemused at some of the low-level, poor spelling, poor grammar, poor knowledge and impatience of some posters.
I'm not convinced that we'll receive any earth-shattering RNS or video chats or news flows, as people seem to constantly shout about, but I do believe there will gradually emerge, occasional pieces of information, some better than others, which will gradually increase the value of the company and the share price. I'm happy to watch. And buy into any dips, upto a certain level, and then just wait till my own long-term exit level.
I do also speculate on various shares but am prepared to patiently accept the 'down' delays / hiccups alongwith taking any quick profits on the 'ups.'
Master plan
I'm not sure that the BOD are switched on to that option. If they are, they are keeping us in the dark. Current thinking would suggest their minds are gridlocked into more important issues. Hopefully they'll be able to throw some light onto what is happening, instead of all this on/off situation. We need to know where the power is and who really holds it. It's all very energy-sapping for everyone, not knowing if the share price will remain static, lose its power, or become electrifying, shocking everyone.. Watt's gonna happen here? Alternate Control by some external power or, remain under Direct Control of the BOD?
Some information on takeovers:
(extracted from various websites)
Target companies may choose to avoid a hostile takeover by buying stock in the prospective buyer's company, thus attempting a takeover of their own. As a counter strategy, the Pac-Man defense works best when the companies are of similar size. Pros: Turning the tables puts the original buyer in an unfavorable situation.
..............
Companies that choose the tender offer approach must follow the rules set forth by the Williams Act. Enacted in 1968, the law requires the acquiring company to disclose its offer terms and purpose, SOURCE OF FUNDS, and PROPOSED PLANS if the takeover is successful. It also gives both the prospective buyer and target company ample time to state their cases, and sets deadlines by which shareholders must make their decisions.

BIG company assets. People know it. Patience.
Let the bidding and fun commence.
Nothing less than 13p should be considered, IF a takeover is seriously considered. There are surprises ahead.
The future is bright, if not a little bumpty, now and then. Exciting times!!!
Seems that some people on this board and also those involved in the 'Deal' process, on the other side, have been involved in some dubious underhand and possibly illegal manipulations to push down the share price with the possible intent of trying to buy the company on the cheap??? And gradually buying up shares on the cheap to give them a greater say in any decisions...???
Just saying...
Some chunky buys going through. 'Somebody' saw an opportunity a week or so ago with a very chunky £58,000 buy.
Most people are easily frightened, which is what shorters and others with dubious intent rely upon to pursue their agendas.
To prevent shorters and MM's from 'borrowing'/stealing YOUR shares, set High and Long-Date Sell Limits on your shares. This prevents them from using your shares. Yes, they can!
Review and reset your Sell Limits regularly before they expire, to keep them out of the hands of those pursuing their own selfish agendas.
They don't care about the company. They don't care about you.
For those not on Twitter, it can be found on YouTube:
https://youtu.be/rwDNPeBq3_k
Perhaps we should do a 'GameStop' here and Buy, Buy, Buy!!! That will stymie any shorters who want the price to go down, and down.
Also, to stop the MMs from 'borrowing' any shares that you already hold, set a LONG High Sell Limit on your shares, and review it regularly to reset the Sell Limit. This will restrict the number of YOUR shares that are 'floating' about, and 'stolen' by others, and which shouldn't be. They're YOUR shares.
Also, don't be gullible and be swept up in any (obviously, pre-prepared) mass hysteria propoganda about resignations, sacking, takeovers, placings, etc.,
Its a hiccup, like so many AIM (and non-AIM) companies. Miners are notorious for their humpty/bumpty journey, through good and bad times.
Excellent time now to buy. We won't be down here forever. Patience, and ignoring the predator-types (you know who they are) is the key.
For those who may want to have a look at their website (not very upto date, but gives a flavour):
https://novumsecurities.com/
Possibly not the most top-notch of companies but neither are they at the bottom. They do arrange IPO's, amongst other possible financial transactions. Craig has said that ECR won't be doing a placing, so Novum won't be arranging that. Craig has mentioned Institutional Investors, so Novum might (highly probably) be arranging something along those lines. Once the II's are heavily into ECR, then...
Also, having two 'joint' brokers - wouldn't that possibly encourage a little competitiveness between them...???
The groundwork being prepared, the foundations being laid, the future awaits... A BIG future.
Patience.
I bought on the way up. Now buying as much as I can on the way down. Unfortunate for those who only speculate for a quick profit (and are thwarted), or the impatient who don't like to see any losses on their 'investments,' but that's the nature of The (stock market) Beast.
Most people are selfish, unfortunately, and lack objectivity when judging others, but none of us are perfect, though some are less perfect than others, including those who spread Fear and Doubt, out of deliberate, malicious intent or an inane, character defect.
Management here could have done better, but then, so could we all in our lives and with our 'investing' or 'trading.'
I consider anything purchased at these ridiculously cheap prices will reap rich rewards in the not too distant future, one way, or another.
Fortune (literally), favours The Brave... IMO.
Or even sooner..
An unfortunate temporary hiccup, like in any personal relationship. If you actually, truly believe in the longer term relationship (personal or share investment), you will stick with it, invest even more time (personal), or money (buying more shares)(absolute steal right now, IMO) OR, you will call it a day, shrug off any lost time, energy, money, and move on.
Even before watching Tony's video, I was content with the long term viability and potential of the company and its assets, whether or not they need to raise some capital. All part of the ups and downs of investing and/or speculating. Life is a risk.
As some guy once said, 'The only thing to Fear, is Fear itself..' Roosevelt, I believe.
Ignore those who take pleasure in creating and spreading Fear. By all means, check out all sources of valid information, for and against. But, ignore those who are extreme, either way. They usually have an ulterior motive and/or character defect.
Patience..
Risk v Reward.
Each of us have to decide our own levels of risk/reward that we're prepared to consider.
Each of us have to decide who to ignore and who to acknowledge.
Whatever happens with the current situation, it will pass, and some months/a year from now, a LOT of people could make a LOT of money.
A great opportunity to buy now or top up.
Of course, it's up to you. Stay calm...
Well, if directors bought a bundle of shares in August 2020, only a few months ago, that's good enough for me. Plus, virtually everything in Life is a risk. Moderate risk here (on balance) v potentially much higher reward in medium/longer term. No genuine and honourable person will ramp or deramp a share, particularly if they claim to be invested, unless they have ulterior motives.
I'm invested for the medium to longer term and will take the dips and bumps as part of the journey.
