RE: Still seeing big sells after hours15 Dec 2020 20:42
I don’t think I can add much more than has already been said by some of the guys on here. RR is a solid engineering firm with a number of strategically important initiatives underway, significant enough, I believe, to gain government protection should it be required, but I think the recent RI and it’s timing has steadied the ship.
I think there’s enough pent up demand for international travel so as soon as routes start opening up again and aero engines come back into operation, RR will begin to realise run-rate revenue on the basis of its maintenance contracts and the SP will begin to rise again.
Bitcoin is another one of those ridiculous high risk, high reward investments. I was lucky enough to have some people around me a few years ago that I trusted (and could blame if it all went wrong!) who made recommendation, so I took the risk.
Honestly, on the current market movement, it’s impossible to predict anything. The MM’s just play the game and the City boys are the only ones that make real money, we can just hope we’ve timed it roughly right to take a profit, of sorts. Brexit can go either way although it looks like we’re getting closer to a deal. IMO the share price will rise on a deal and fall quite heavily on a no-deal.
All my statements are nothing more than opinion, I don’t profess to be an expert but I do know that you’ll live to see another day if you stay away from leveraged investments ??
