Public record that Artar decided to support kefi rather than play hardball and buy Kefi out so the whole argument is kind of how many angels can dance on a pin.

Obviously does not make sense for Artar to kill the goose that is laying the golden eggs discovery wise and replace them with someone that may or may not make the same level of discoveries and will want a slice anyway.

So the value of the Saudi side to kefi is down to the discoveries they make though if you are trading in and out of kefi you might be hoping kefi drops the ball at least long enough so you can get in at nice price. Then of course suddenly kefi will be the best thing since slice bread till you have sold and want to get back in again.

The trouble with listing in Canada and the US is you are against every other resource stock. As for London its losing ground especially in the mining sector. In Saudi you can shortcut the route to Kefi being a big miner as you will get mining money pile i like it did with Amak that has nearly a one and a half billon dollar market cap on probably less resources than kefi has. Then add the increased likelihood of kefi having its main HQ there on the back of the new tax breaks.

Think company missing a trick not setting out a road map to listing in Saudi at least as share price shot up here on the Amak listing.

The operator of Saudi Arabia’s stock exchange said foreign investors’ exposure to the bourse isn’t high enough, showing that they’re missing out on returns that have beaten most emerging-market peers.

The operator is doing what it can to promote Saudi Arabian stocks by informing international investors about the market and its regulatory and operating framework, Al-Hussan said. It is also expanding its offering of securities to add depth, such as last year’s introduction of single stock options contracts.

Al-Hussan said there is more than enough liquidity to support new listings, with almost 60 applications under review.
