One effect of this is more likely that kefi have a Ethiopian component to the equity side for TK so more influential Ethiopians have a dog in the fight maybe if i was being cynical that was the plan all along.

Looking at the politics the Ethiopian government probably not going to want this to go to court as it would the circumstances would be embarrassing for its mining industry. Also domestically are they really going to back a dodgy Chinese outfit and a Australian microcap over the Ethiopian subsidiary of kefi that Ethiopians will have a stake in?

Think the plan was that kefi would do a deal with Askari to save time save the embarrassment to certain parties and the costs of legal action. However post tk launch kefi will in be in a much better position to fight this and will end up having much deeper pockets than a small outfit that had to sell some of its prospects and raise cash just to do its own first pass of one area. Plus we already know from history that harry hates dodgy dealings.

If you are talking lifetime of the mine that includes areas not fully explored yet so could extend life of the mine. Expect gold price over first years to be a lot higher. Further out gold might be starting to be valued in yaun or a brics currency or a might see a gold backed digital currency all those likely to be good for kefi and TK.
