People have the opportunity to buy at primary bid but not a lot of time. SP might dip to the placement price but would expect a quick bounce back as think the company would have gone for more money if a deal was far off, there will not be a fear of a placement any more and gold price is on a tear.
Fantasy think where the company has fallen down is not sourcing Saudi money on the back of progress there but maybe they were doing that and ran out of time. Electric think the company was trying to hang on otherwise it might have gone for a placing around January and would not have come to an arrangement with Artar.

"Kefi Gold & Copper (KEFI) was in talks with a financier to tide it over until the bank funding for Tulu Kapi arrived but time pressed on and so, after hours there is an RNS. There is a placing and a Primary Bid offer to raise up to £6 million at 0.6p, the shares closed at 0.78p. After then there should be no more dilution at a PLC level and the shares do look very cheap so take up that offer TONIGHT at Primary Bid, registering HERE."

Slide 13 shows Harry but slide 15 spotlight on Northeast Africa Kefi:Early mover in Saudi Arabia and now Ethiopia.. its John leach maybe a last minute change in who will be a speaker? Interesting that Harry is prominently highlighted on the document though not sure if the aaa@kefi-minerals.com is correct maybe haa@kefiminerals.com would make more sense.
Could not find anything to suggest that Kefi area sponsor or have a booth there. Looking back kefi has attended before buy not always.
Great find by Ham.Makes sense for Ivanhoe and Maaden to look at the what kefi has done as both are working in the Wadi Bidah mineral district and it is one of Ivanhoes priority districts and kefi has made a lot of discoveries there.
From kefis perspective any discoveries by Ivanhoe in the same area likely to get more publicity that can in turn boost kefi share price as kefi discoveries not really reflected in the share price at the moment.

“Later this quarter we will be issuing an update on Hawiah and Al Godeyer following the positive work programmes that have taken place. The metal content already reported at Hawiah is the gold equivalent of the Company’s other development assets (Tulu Kapi in Ethiopia and Jibal Qutman in Saudi Arabia)”

“Wadi Bidah is located between 220 and 270 km southeast of Jeddah and about 50 km north of Ma’aden’s Al Hijar gold mine, also not included in JV. This area has relatively limited data with its more challenging topography and local communities impacting both airborne and groundwork. The Bir Umq belt is also largely unmapped and unexplored. These two belts will become the focus of exploration activities in mid-2024.”

"To attract domestic and foreign investors, Ethiopia has implemented various legislative reforms and investment incentives in the mining sector. The country’s mining laws have been revised to provide a transparent and investor-friendly regulatory framework. Additionally, the government offers tax breaks, customs duty exemptions, and streamlined licensing procedures to encourage investment in the sector." (For kefi)

What interesting is even though they have been involved in a lot of projects apart from TK they are giving prominence to to TK its almost as if the expect some news there.

All the parties would have been conferring with the lead bank that has given board and credit approval and we know they there was a positive meeting in Ethiopia before another meeting on the sidelines of the mining conference.
Doubt there would be a massive time difference between approval between the two banks that would have to go through the same kind of processes.
What likely happened is their was delay down to AFC being too stretched over the number of mining deals they were working on. https://www.africafc.org/news-and-insights/news/afc-unveils-strategic-partnerships-to-boost-africas-mining-sector
Now those are done and dusted though the bank will have the resources to get TK done and its a major positive that the bank is having a major drive to get mining deals done in Africa.
As for the other parties get the impression that they were already onboard just were waiting for a bank approval so they sign off approvals fast.

Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed’s cabinet dealt with various draft legislations and agreements in its 27th regular session on Saturday.
Among them were four draft agreements to issue licenses to extract Bromite, Coal, granite, and gold minerals, the PM Office said in a statement.
The Ministry of Mines reached the mining agreements with Jereh Chemical Industrial Plc, Rafiq Husni Farisalqab Sequoia Mining and Processing Plc, and Oromiax Mining S.C...
Dan Depends on your personal investment style if you are more an investor or a trader. Will leave it up to the traders here to answer from a chart perspective and trading patterns and so on and answer from a investor perspective.
First if you do not like gold prospects do not invest here as the first two mines that kefi should be building are gold mines.
Secondarily look at the slides from kefis presentations and decide if there is a big gap between kefi present market cap and what it should be, (if the share price has got some legs) or its fairly valued.
If you are considering holding post TK go ahead weigh up possible spike points for kefi share price, like DFS for second kefi gold mine, breakout in gold price, hitting warrant exercise price, listing in Saudi…
If you decide that share trading or investing is too nerve shredding I would look at holding physical silver if you are positive on precious metals due to the present gold silver ratio but thats just my opinion.
