Cheers gmed.
I looked at the plant and water requirements for plant usage where possible.
An 8 hour shift would be fine for initial standard production and with 5 shipments , 4 in 4 months it looks like consistency is building and as for grades, the client has accepted delivery of each processed tantalum amount, so I am happy that KZG is beginning to move forward.
On looking a bit closer, I think the water issue would impact on the larger top end processing inorder to get 10,000tpa of Tantalum .
With approximate values of 500lbs per ton, see sales document 2002, 20% of ore with Tantalum in seam would look about right, so focusing around Homestead.
With Lithium its much different and this is where I have changed my mind. At 2% average ore grade in main pegmatite seams, not all have 2% but 1% would look a better average 99% more ore would need to be processed, which very quickly increases the demands on the water being used.
Using tailings , which there are tons and tons of would be a great starting point for feedstock to increase the Tantalum take and cashflow. Reinvest this in the short term 6-12 month water pipeline and then add on a Lithium JORC. Maybe this is when KZG can focus more on the lithium, but until then its drilling and coring, whilst stockpiling the lithium from the Tantalum shipment processung which is current !
Anyone have anything to add ? Happy to have any errors corrected.
