If earnings are forecast to decline 5.9% pa then why do these 'analysts' think the sp is going to grow by 31.6%?

European opp trust has just increased its holding if I read the thing correctly.
Barc has been on a downtrend since the financial crash. So what can reverse this? Nothing I'd say. So it's a question as to whether we have a short term bounce back. It's current decline is obviously all down to fear as the numbers aren't really that bad.
I know if I sell it'll probably at least level off.
I also know if I add it'll decline further.
Hold for the dividend? Will then be cut?
In summary I know from experience that every investing decision turns out badly.
I bought today's dip. Good company but bad times! 5% div yield now.
Well it hasn't. That's a surprise isn't it.
