No, they aren’t getting their money back. Yes the NSR covers the €5.65m but they also gave CGNR €1m for the privilege in the first place. I maintain this is a shocking deal for Demir, and amazed it’s all so amicable when they spend all that time and money to come away with a net loss and are happy about it? What am I missing?

If Demir did then why did they leave with, what appears to be, a shocking bad deal? Surely they would have demanded more than a distant partial refund ?

Why would you finish / extinguish an existing JV unless you already had another lined up? To do so without the assurance of a pending deal would be somewhat suicidal. Therefore I think we will have to wait long on a new partner announcement

Pretty obvious what’s going on here. Someone bigger and better wants part of this. Demir couldn’t get to grips with it fast enough.

Worth asking why Demir would happily leave without demanding their €6m back? Happy to take 2% royalty once in production is a strong endorsement of future success and profit don’t you think?

The departure of Demir makes complete strategic sense and I’m somewhat amazed at the very favourable exit deal. No costs for CGNR until production and even then a mere 2% royalty. They gave us €1m and spent another ~€5.5m on drilling bringing us further along in a way we couldn’t have done alone.

Demir were a bit overwhelmed at the sheer scale of things and we all noticed how slowly things were going so thanks Demir but we really want to get things moving quicker.

I know Deathboy thinks the grades are uneconomical and it’s the wrong type of gold (in places) but the sheer tonnage out there and the price of gold at record highs this renders his view plain wrong.

Now we own 100% of everything again I don’t think it’ll be long before a much bigger partner joins us to really move things along.

Buying this under 10p is an absolute steal and I’m taking advantage of it

Apparently the land owners are wondering when it’ll ever happen, they’re more than happy with it, CGNR have quietly acquired a lot of the land for themselves too though.

I listened to the report and Kev said they don’t need to raise money as Demir are paying for everything, even his wages.

I think positive newsflow is what’s about to happen there as they have 2 rigs in operation at Clay Lake.

Always nice to have some good news before an AGM to keep the crowd happy ;-)

Perhaps the most intriguing part of all these off book trades is that someone is carefully / stealthily accumulating.

In my experience, shares that froth like this one has (over a period of weeks/months without news) is often a good sign
