I can't see why he hangs around like a bad smell saying the same thing over and over. All explorers run out of resources at mines. That's why they continually look for more. Thor are in the fortunate place of having a good fcf to support more exploration. They may not be the best miner on the tsx but they are in a good position and will succeed , which they have done over the last few years. As I said they are a good set of miners which is more than can be said for a lot of the small explorers out there.

Yes , Africa is risky, but it's not a dead cert to fail. Barrick tried to play hard ball , but have now agreed a deal lke B2 & Allied.

But if you are risk averse you wouldn't invest in any stocks least of all the likes of Nvidia.

It all depends on whether Nigeria are serious about encouraging business. If they are not then then the Federal gov will let the shxters in the local gov get away with this . I don't think so . If that happens then Thor and other companies will wind their operations up and leave Nigeria. Bit like what will happen in the UK when labour tax the rich . Thor are an absolute gravytrain for the Gov going forward . Especially when gold goes above 3000 dollar . Thor are a good mining company . They don't need Nigeria. Nigeria needs them . Good miners will be in demand all over the globe in the next 10 years .

i can quite understand that local officials will be quite envious at the amount of dosh that thor are now making and are wanted some for their own pockets.

i think it may mean we might get an early tu. last year the company gave an tu on oct 17 . i wouldn't be surprised if it were a few days earlier this year say oct 14, which is a monday ? i can't speak for anyone else but i think it's a buying opportunity myself .
