@R95
I'm expecting a spike up and possibly soon to be honest.
Definitely not placing any sell orders in, but setting alerts once this trend reverses.
15%+ spikes are easily possible.
Keep on watching the graphs, they don't lie.
I'm normally a range player and like to pinch a few points within a range and have done many times.
Equally, I could imagine many would be happy if this stayed in say a 90p - 105p range for quite a while.
If only we knew, rather than just guessing.
Be lucky.
There's got to a time to get onboard, if you're not already on.
I was initially surprised it dipped sub 150p to be honest.
Thought I'd grabbed a bargain around 140p.
Then crash!!
I've managed to reduce my average and sitting back now until I see some upward movement.
I want to see 125p+ and don't mind waiting.
Underwater, but not drowning.
I'm more concerned with the airline stocks and financials.
Watching and waiting to how Putin issues develop, or not. Tomorrow could tell a story or two.
GLA, fingers crossed for the week ahead.
The next few days could be interesting.
I doubt any invasion, but thinking Putin may still play around.
Anyway, I've bought more BOO to average down. No more buying and will monitor until I see 125p+.
GLA
@alex1621 - I fully agree.
What will the range be?
Will the range stay as it is?
I like to play around within a range and currently 85p - 100p, although the dip under 90p didn't last long, so perhaps 90p - 100p currently.
Obviously, as experienced and especially here, ranges do change and rapidly at times. Airlines / travel stocks have been volatile for quite a while.
GLA and be lucky.
Summer '22 bookings look good, considering.
How many were booked via voucher credits, or previous cancellations though?
See how the the markets react this morning.
GLA
I see an upward trend, but maybe not as much as hoped for.
I gambled on IAG and got it wrong.
Still holding and my largest holding and top heavy.
I've reduced TUI down to reduce risks.
Massive opportunities with the airlines / travel stocks.
May take longer than hoped for.
I'd like to be more in cash and play on drops.
I still feel 2022 will be turbulent.
Just my thoughts and I've been wrong many, many times.
Be lucky.
I don't think it'll tank towards 200p Mary, but worried about a circa 7% drop.
Thankfully, it's finished around 260p and not sub 250p.
Equally, a rise could get above 270p.
Whatever happens tomorrow, GLA.
I'd like to see a finish above 260p today, just in case the results aren't good, or if they don't go down to well tomorrow.
Hoping for decent results tomorrow, but not confident.
GLA
A bit flat so far, see how this afternoon and tomorrow goes.
Disappointed we have broken 110p so far this week, if it'll happen at all.
I was hoping to see 115p to be honest.
Maybe next week?
Maybe the week after?
Maybe ones after that?
Frustrating.
If today was a bloodbath, more please.
Embarrassing at a high level.
But, no doubt more nonsense tomorrow.
I'd like to see stability above 110p and move up to a higher range - perhaps 110 - 125p initially.
But, higher lows are a way forward.
GLA, be lucky.
Looking like a positive start to the week.
Another up and down week ahead though?
Looking to see 115p+ here during this week and want the airlines to have a good, make that a great week.
GLA, be lucky.
Yes, slow and steady.
16% rise and above my 350p target.
Seems more reasonable than ever now.
Quite possible to see that within two weeks, if things move steadily on.
Obviously, a fall or not moving much at all, are other possible options. I'm optimistic.
But, let the trend be your friend.
Takeover?
Can't be that many who would make a bid.
The would no doubt be a decent premium though.
