RE: What is the downside/risk from here?17 Nov 2020 09:43
TITM - I lost tens of thousands years ago here but back again now as like you-say massively derisked, wished I could buy here as payed 1.4p but yes we are awaiting an imminent RNS on the announcement of drilling/3D seismic for which AEX has a free carry along with a hungry customer in the Tanzanian government....
Regardless of ARA aren't Aminex ‘legally bound’ to inform the market of any market/price sensitive news - RNS way before Xmas, one this week I reckon....
Goinglong1 - I’d hope for an RNS this week, just need a few more believers to buy back in & this would soon tick-up.... I’d rather they wait & release a complete RNS (with timescales) than a rushed out jam tomorrow affair... GLA
The clever money sold & made a mint on the vaccine rise, that rise has fallen back now so people selling at a profit - we may well see more buying now as they return with their gains.... Here’s hoping for a ‘good’ RNS tomorrow - GLA
What are the rules regards a director selling (if that’s who’s selling) when major news is due, is it allowed as we aren’t exactly in a quiet period (no pun intended)?
Highlandmatt - I share your pain it’s easy to get frustrated with BOD & a lack of news but it WILL come eventually & then people will be stressing wondering when to sell & peeved when it continues past where their sale price lol....
Highlandmatt - your fortunate many of us have much higher averages, I bought back in after losing a load on BP, it’s gulling to see BP surge & this 1/2 - 3p by Xmas, did Malcy really say that?
Guys we dropped 3.16% & most of that was due to the ridiculous spread - news won’t land until there is something concrete to say - it’s coming don’t worry lol
Bigpat - Because the FTSE surged today & so people sold AIM minnows to take advantage, wished I had - they’ll be back with more money now the first wiff on news... I suspect a blue day tomorrow... GLA
Now the markets are more stable with the elections over, R rate dropping & a Brexit deal now looking likely - we may see people start to return - I’d hope for an RNS this week - GLA
Can the OMC go ahead without Scir money, they need to pay their 25% costs - I guess until they have funds sorted we are all left holding the baby waiting for Scir again.....
CrustyPete - that’s what I thought & probably why people have sold (money to be made elsewhere whilst we await spud) - We are used to disappointment with AEX but might APT surprise us - wouldn’t it be great to be pleasantly surprised & the market caught off guard for once....
