The rising oil & gold price can only benefit Alba (barring WW3) as 1/ it’s more profit to us via UKOG & 2/ It makes mining the gold far more economically attractive (inc to the Welsh government as money/tax talks)…We just need to know if we are going to be selling assay gold this year into said rise… GLA

Complete Absence of any news isn’t helping things, SD just never surprises the market - it’s all so very predictable & boring (& safe) - Gold price keeps rising so that will have to be factored into any low ball offer - Remember things could be much worse we could be EUA (poor sods), is there hope for Eurasia or is it likely the buyer will go bankrupt or Russia will just take their assets (I’m not invested so I’m not that clued up on it & didn’t like to ask on their board?) - I chose GGP over EUA & thought I’d missed the boat with both… GLA

Indeed, we’ve held up very well & even risen on back of negative global events which bodes well for any incoming good news - cheeky little rise might suggest something leaked as a fair few buys today…. GLA

It’s a sea of blue out there today, most stocks on my watch list are up around 10% so where’s ours, Monday maybe? GLA

Lee - I’m in regular contact with Alba & they never divulge anything that isn’t already RNS’d so I very much doubt anybody on here has emails off Alba claiming what you say… A video stated they expected assay result’s in 3 weeks & then they’d need a few days to analyse & release them…. Let’s see what the next few days hold eh - any good news would have been lost in the Ukrainian maelstrom anyway…. GLA

After the risk averse sold this morning miners are starting to turn blue again…. Assay results are our next focus - GLA

Oil & gold both up (shame it’s not due to better circumstances - crypto down 10% as gold returns to favour in trying times)…

Didn’t they say Monday for Assay results from Ireland & then a couple of days to analyse/compile & create an RNS so potentially Thu for an RNS?

How come the asking price is being paid but we aren’t ticking up (& why the ridiculous spread)?

How are things developing of late? I’m way down here & so have buried my head in hands a bit but notice we keep dropping, so much hope (& hype) - is it actually ever going to deliver as been here before with unicorn shares & lost a fortune?

GROC are down 0.3% so haven’t a clue why we’ve dropped so much - plus more buys than sells now…. I suspect we’ll tick up shortly…. GLA

Lee - We are currently awaiting assay results with a view to selling the waste pits gold whilst we also await mining - gold up & price of asset also goes up as our mines becomes more & more financially viable - if we were mining & had a proven resource it would admittedly go up even more…. GLA

Ukraine crises means oil & gold will inevitably rise which is to our benefit - alas a crying shame for the people of Ukraine but nothing we can do about it :-(

Wall Street is actually up & FTSE is down 0.3% - Everybody knew Ukraine was coming so Market had already factored it in… it’s just a few people selling who are either risk averse or hoping to buy back in cheaper…. GLA

I think some people think Wales is in Ukraine - go figure!

Should get assay results this week too so hopefully we’ll have revenue shortly just as the gold price starts it’s increase…. GLA

Somebody with Alba recently said Assay results expected early next week & that they’ll need a few days to analyse results & to put an RNS together so looking mid to end of next week….

If UKOG were up 50%+ where’s our 6% rise (we own nearly 12% of UKOG after all) - seems a little unfair but then people just won’t stop selling despite some big announcements due….. non so strange as folk…. our time is coming if UKOGs rise holds we should correct soon too… GLA
