Far more people taking their well earned breaks with EZJ Holidays. Big increase in 2 - 5 day breaks followed by a similar break a few months later. I speculate the results tomorrow will show massive recent growth in the holiday business. Jet2 and EZJ will come out on top of the UK holiday business

Plenty of news and updates recently with ANICs portfolio companies. The investment case gets stronger by the week, yet still little discussion! I'm convinced some of these companies will be massive in a few short years. Ever mindful ANIC is on the AIM but I'm invested and continuing to add. The world needs clean food production.

Previous updates have mentioned how people have wanted to escape our rainy island, also that many bookings are last minute. With fine weather for the last few weeks I'm expecting like for like sales for 2025 to be lower than last year. Long term I believe Jet2 are rock solid and will weather any short term turbulence.

Jet2holidays is by far the superior product, I am seeing a degree of EZJ holidays starting to copy the Jet2 model, and why not, if you can't beat em etc. Invested in both but see far more growth potential with EZJ as their holiday business is definitely going to be massive, that's where the big profit is. Both companies are a Buy at these low levels

I expect the recent SP rise will attract further interest. Without sounding like a rocket emoji to the moon ramper, to any new investors have a look at the Empire website, see what's already in and on the ground, the potential here is off the scale

Both companies with a good reputation in the travel industry. IAG has improved from a low base in recent years. Jet2 have the UK covered less Cardiff and the jewel in the crown Gatwick. There's a marriage made in the skies if these 2 get together. Euroflyer is great out of Gatwick but nobody does holidays better than Jet2. All imho of course

Surprised to see the SP this low for such a well managed profitable company. Bought a few more today on the expectation the recent fall is overdone.

I would have bailed weeks ago but cannot trade on the HL platform, this has been the case for months.

Really? They certainly didn't feel any squeeze in Summer 24 despite the clear and obvious growth in the EZJ Holiday business. I'll keep both for now

Very impressed with the Jet2 growth strategy, they will sell loads of holidays from Luton, they're at the stage where they don't need to race to the bottom in terms of service and cost. They've already brought forward holidays from the 2 lastest Airports, Bournemouth (2025) due to demand, Liverpool (2024) has even more new destinations. I'm sure they would be keen to get slots in LGW at some point if they become available. Only other areas that may become available that I can think of is Cardiff and Doncaster. They will then have UK bases right across the country. Not bad for a company that is still less than 25 years old.

Have to disagree that EZJ are undermining the established markets of Jet2 in particular, maybe the other tour operators and OTAs. No doubt whatsoever the EZJ holiday business is growing rapidly, they have a long way to go reach the renowned service levels of Jet2 who are also still growing rapidly. Plenty of room for both my portfolio hopes
