He responded to my email:
Thank you for your email. We do want to communicate with shareholders, but there has to be something meaningful to communicate or else it wastes everyone’s time. We updated our website at the start of September which is now easier to navigate, more informative and clearer on Angus strategy. As usual, we will be updating the market on 3Q production shortly. We are not in a position to comment on our growth projects at this stage, but you can be assured that when we have something to talk about, we will communicate it.
I know it is not much relief to shareholders like you when our share price is languishing at current levels, but we look significantly better than many if not most of our peers on AIM. We have a very solid asset at Saltfleetby which is performing well and we are making progress to recover from the legacy financial problems inherited from the previous management. Obviously, the negative stance of the new government towards oil and gas is weighing on us and on our sector, but we do not believe that legacy tax pools will be impacted by the changes which will be revealed in the Budget at the end of this month. I continue to remain optimistic about the future of Angus.
I am happy to talk at any time and you are welcome to call me if you have specific questions or recommendations for Angus. Thank you for your interest in the Company.
