Proposed Directors of Tirupati Graphite explain why they have requisitioned an GM. Watch the video here.
I am a long term holder and have confidence in Avacta.
Current market cap = £ 275m. 50,000 shares currently worth £ 55,000.
When we get back to previous high of £ 2.91, 50,000 shares worth £ 145,500 and most/all investors back in the black, (+ve)
50,000 shares at £ 5.00 would be £ 250,000 and brilliant. Avacta market cap would be a realistic £ 1.25 billion. (++ve)
£ 25.00 per share sounds wonderful but let’s be realistic. Market Cap at £ 6.25 Billion. Not for a long time, (IMO)
If you are holding 50,000 shares and the share price hit £ 5.00,
would you really sit tight in the hope of £ 25.00 per share = £ 1,250,000?
There will be a number of long term holders who regret not top slicing when we were at £ 2.91.
Love the enthusiasm, but let’s be realistic and not too greedy, …. IMO
Still say Avacta is a Buy at current levels.
As ever DYOR :-)
Another disappointing day for the share price while we wait CTDA and HUA.
48 tests (both PCR and antigen based) which passed the process at Porton Down earlier in the year can remain on sale in the UK until a cut-off date of 28 February 2022, (12 weeks).
Avacta submitted ahead of the 1 September 2021 deadline. Avacta awaits further notification from the UK Health Security Agency.
Covid numbers are increasing again. New HMG policies require testing pre-travel. Will we have a shortage of LFT’s? The approval process needs to be accelerated?
Meanwhile:
Cancer Treatments – AVA Clinical trials continue in the UK and USA. Big news to follow.
Topped up again today. Still can’t believe where the share price is!
@rxdav
Your comments are fair.
Question is, how do we get everyone (young & old) back to more safe and normal living?
Like you I am fully vaccinated (x3) but remain cautious. I appreciate the ongoing efforts made by the NHS.
I where a face mask in public places (shops, bars, etc). Anywhere where there may be a risk. Wearing a face mask for long periods of time is not ideal but it does help to protect others.
Not everyone wants to be vaccinated (free-choice) but there is a risk for them and to others. Also an additional burden on the NHS.
The latest proposal to test before travel to the UK will also help to reduce the risk of different strains coming in to the UK, (600 passengers on two flights to the Netherlands. 61 had the new Omicron strain).
There are different policies from the different UK governing bodies being introduced and tweaked on a daily basis. Perhaps our leaders in all 4 nations need to agree a single clear policy that we can all understand and follow?
There will be a lot of LTH’s thinking the same as MM.
The FDA AVA6000 RNS is BIG news but there are a lot or short term holders who bought Avacta as an LFT stock and do not fully understand the therapeutic side of the business.
LFT's may be selling but we will not see numbers (£) for LFT’s sales until the year end accounts. Frustrating but the LTH’s know that Avacta has unique IP and there is a good future.
Stay safe, stay warm and hang in there, …
@LiveLongnProsper
Valid point well made. LFT business should be happening outside of the UK so it would be good to have an update.
A simple update (RNS) stating how many LFT’s have been produced / shipped.
Problem:
Passengers are taking PCR tests 2 to 3 days before flying.
Passengers can still pick-up a Covid infection before travelling.
Non-UK airlines have carried passengers to the Netherlands and China with Covid.
Some passengers infected with the new Omicron strain.
Solution:
Passengers should use an accurate LFT before travelling to the airport.
Airports / Airlines to use screening with an accurate LFT before check-in.
Test clear and travel.
Test positive, no travel and self-isolation.
Avacta:
All cases outside the UK so airlines free to use the Avacta LFT.

600 arrive in the Netherlands on 2 flights
61 have Covid including 13 with Omicron

China suspends four of Air France's Tianjin flights after COVID-19 cases
Eleven passengers on an Air France flight on Nov. 12 tested positive upon arrival in the country.
@Marik,
Don’t disagree.
Boris was very uncommitted tonight and indicated that Sajid Javid would make a statement in the coming days. Why wasn’t he there tonight?
Agree with getting the vaccine and booster, but there are other things we can all do to protect us all and reduce the spread. Everyone should wear a face mask in public places.
We have had lock downs with schools, shops, pubs, gyms, hairdressers closed. We now have an improved level of freedom and we need to maintain that.
Face masks on, stay safe and be nice to each other, …
@Losta:
Amsterdam airport authorities caught 61 passengers from just one plane load yesterday!!!!!!!
And how many have they infected on the plane or in the airport?
Covid is airborne hence the need for masks.
We need to wear masks in public places in the UK again.
Step forward Avacta. Can the Avacta Affimer LFT detect Omicron?
If it does, could speed up CTDA and HUA.
https://www.gov.uk/government/news/first-uk-cases-of-omicron-variant-identified
Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, Sajid Javid said:
Thanks to our world class genomic sequencing we have been made aware of two UK cases of the Omicron variant. We have moved rapidly and the individuals are self-isolating while contact tracing is ongoing.
Dr Jenny Harries, Chief Executive of UKHSA, said:
We have identified these cases thanks to the UK’s advanced sequencing capabilities which means we are able to find variants and take rapid action to limit onward spread.
The UK donates a £ 10bn - £ 15bn each year in Foreign Aid.
We have UK citizens unable to heat their homes and are also using foodbanks.
If HM Government discontinue LFT supply, there will be some who will be forced to decide to test, eat or stay warm. In view of this new strain, HM Government needs to review LFT policy now. LFT’s should be available to all.
Do those in power, who have money, understand this?
Interesting to see NCYT up 25%+ as a result of this mornings RNS.
CTDA & HUA approval should do the same to the Avacta share price.
Another RNS for AVA6000 and Avacta should achieve a new share price high.
Like Christmas, it's coming, ....
Stay safe and warm.
Comments:
- LFT’s will be required for years to come.
- Avacta has a best in class LFT that can be adapted to detect new variants, (B.1.1.529 in South Africa)?
- Avacta has manufacturing capacity is in place.
- The Avacta LFT is being marked for professional use in Europe, USA and Asia.
- Avacta is waiting CTDA and HUA approval to allow sales in the UK.

Benefits of LFA testing
- LFA antigen test is effective to detect a high viral load.
- LFA tests are mobile and rapid.
- LFA tests can be rapidly deployed across multiple locations.
- LFA tests can provide much faster results than PCR tests.
LFA diagnostic tests will undoubtedly play an important role against future diseases and to help stop local outbreaks spreading nationally and globally. Avacta Affimer technology can be adapted to test for new variants.

Covid: New heavily mutated variant B.1.1.529 in South Africa raises Concern
There have been negative stories relating to Covid testing services. Members of the public sending samples for testing and either receiving the results too late or receiving results that may be inaccurate or false, (not tested).
The only way to have both confidence and control over self-testing is to use an accurate LFT. Test in your own safe environment and you have results in minutes.
Everything points to an economically priced LFT’s that offers accurate results.
Avacta HUA is the only thing holding us back! HUA news soon?
Just received an e-mail from Avacta.
Note: The study was performed using real-life samples and was not limited to in-silico analysis.
Avacta® Diagnostics actively monitors the performance of the AffiDX® SARS-CoV-2 Antigen Lateral Flow Test against the emergence of new SARS-CoV-2 Variants of Concern (VOC).
An independent validation study was conducted at an external site to verify that the device can detect the virus in samples of patients that had been confirmed as carrying the Delta (B.1.617.2) variant of the virus.
The study was performed using real-life samples and was not limited to in-silico analysis.
