The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Dear All - please find below some interesting excerpts from the Vox Markets interview, dated 5/8/22. Feel free to copy'n'paste on to all the other media platforms as you see fit. No need to credit me, unless it's Prolapse or john "The Pinnacle" swan193 doing the copying and pasting. I have added the *** to draw attention to particularly important (IMHO) content.
JC: “We got really great data out of the vertical hole from two standpoints. 1) The quality of the data is very high and 2) the data itself is very, very positive.”
“Couple of things…our geologic model predicted accurately the depths [of the target intervals] within a few feet. We are so confident in our geologic modelling, ***we predicted the depths accurately, we see the oil, we see light oil, so that’s all very, very positive for us***. We moved 4 miles away from our previous Alkaid-1 well…and ***Alkaid-2 has better reservoir qualities from a permeability and porosity [perspective] and better thickness standpoint v’s Alkaid-1***. So we are just super, super happy. We’re really charged up about it and we can’t wait to drill our horizontal well and then put it on to a Long Term Production Test (LTPT) that will prove the commerciality.”
BR: “Starting with the Alkaid anomaly……at Alkaid-1 v’s where we’re drilling the horizontal at Alkaid-2, we just see more of the better reservoir. So it’s better than Alkaid-1, that’s porosity, permeability and thickness of the individual sand zones in the anomaly. And that’s good news because of course all we’ve done in terms of our modelling, in terms of resource, how the reservoir will perform is all based on the Alkaid-1 penetration…where we did our test [in 2019].”
“Above the Alkaid anomaly sits the Shelf Margin Deltaic (SMD). We’ve moved 4.5 miles from Alkaid-1 to the location of Alkaid-2 where we encountered hydrocarbons again. ***The reservoir quality looks better in the SMD than at Alkaid-1*** and we feel really confident we can move the extent of the SMD even further to the east under the Dalton Highway (DH) and across the river.”
“We have drilled 300ft deeper than we drilled at Alkaid-1 and again we found reservoir sands with hydrocarbons in it. All across the board we are very happy.”
“We knew we were going to TD above the HRZ where we encountered overpressure further to the west. The regulator asked us to stop 200ft above the HRZ. We were hoping to get another 100ft deeper so there is potential for even more oil underneath our Alkaid-2 [vertical] TD."
“Just internally discussing the Alkaid anomaly, if we’re correct about the reservoir performance, the quality of the reservoir…..***that by itself will add to the hydrocarbon pore volume*** that we have associated with the Alkaid anomaly.”
“The Lee Keeling contingent resources report [of 76.5mmbo contingent resource] relied only on the data from the 240ft section we drilled at Alkaid-1. We have never previously guided a resource estimation for the Alkaid Deep section. The
Many thanks Scot and Marmaris for your kind words - Im not sure how anyone could think I am Pro - I have never posted a negative word about PANR even after the collapse of and closing down sale in Texas - and I am also not that well informed of the financial world. Thanks again.
After all the years of me posting here and occasionally on the "other place" - that go back to the Texas days - after I failed to gain membership of the guild on the other place - I find myself being accused of being the"pro" -the poster that is almost universally disliked because of his contradictory postings. it was in an effort to gain membership of the guild to be able to read the postings of Scott126 and the many other well informed posters on ADVFN that has led to this accusation.
If you are reading this and don't understand what on earth i am talking about, then you are obviously not a follower.
Got this off Twitter perhaps I was getting 4 from 2+1 oops sorry

On the final countdown @PantheonResour1 A buzz of activity in the Alkaid #2 pad, assembling the rig and preparing services ahead of spud #PANR team have made fantastic progress. Not long to go now, folks! $PANR $PTHRF #OOTT #Alaska twitter.com/Share_Talk/sta…
If any of the oilers that used to be here are reading this - could they please tell me that given that the testing has now started - how long "might" it be before we have data that would prove up fully or partially the estimates that have been published.
Many many of us will be aware that most of the quality posters on "the other place" have disappeared and are now hidden from the mainstream view in a collective known as "the guild" in order to escape nonsense from just one particular poster. Some of them post on here occasionally - Scott126 is one of the many that I will miss for their balanced and knowledgable contributions. I cannot seem to be able to join their group, so I hope if some of them who I know post and read here have anything that they think might be of use and interest to us mere mortals - I hope that they will consider passing it on. If not then sadly - I and we will be all the more saddened for the loss of the insight that they have given us in the past
In Greek myth Sisiphus was condemned by the Gods for his arrogance - his fate was to push a huge stone uphill for eternity only to see it roll down the hill again and to start pushing it back up again. His work rate also has to be admired but from what I can see Prolapse has a similar work rate - and there are also other similarities - what is he or she achieving ???
From PRO s 2009 on the other board.
June now....short selling is over, all done. FOMO kicking in now....Alkaid spud July....not long left to get back in with a good solid holding if you want to.
Can this be the same person that has been rubbishing PANR ad nausium for what seems like for ever???.
From April webinar:- Primary objective at Alkaid #2 is a long-term horizontal production test of the Alkaid #1 zone plus: i. appraisal of oil discovered in shallower SMD, ii. explore deeper Brookian section, previously untested I would expect them to drill to TD in the deepest (Brookian) section, then core and log the entire vertical section. That takes care of the two secondary objectives, plus gives additional info about the Alkaid 1 zone before they kick off. Would also expect them to plug the lower section off before beginning the horizontal.
Question - does anyone have any idea how long this is likely to take please??
No apologies for posting this link again - it shows the upcoming schedule for work going into July and on. Also backs up JC's statement of what is happening in the real world.

"Our drilling & testing has yielded results we are incredibly proud of...We achieved what we set out to do - namely to confirm the presence and movability of oil in our targeted horizons."

Quite right Boris, blockage is at Talithia and storm prevented completion off testing at Theta West - but although I know more than a little below nothing - its frustrating that we are so close to something really big - but nothing seems to be getting finished - it all seems to be pushed down the road till some time in the future - weather - blockage - Why for instance could they not clear the blockage at Talitha before now.? The equipment is available commercially and July seems an awfully long way away.
Actual storm warnings look closer and "shorter" than was thought -- double whoops
