I meant more about trading numbers, but always good to hear the merchant list is increasing with good quality vendors on there. For the notification I was basing my comments on the Topcashback app user experience, though it has been a while since I've used it so will need to refresh my memory if it's instant or not when using the app. Topcashback does support app-app CashBAck, eBay being a good example. (i.e. Topcashback -> select eBay -> opens eBay app).
I'm sure Mode will get there soon enough, though i still can't get comfortable with them having a shiny new app all packaged and ready but delaying the launch. Urgh!

....and Rita needs to find her voice again. No update since her initial CEO Update back in March. Not a peep since then :(

@WhatTimeIsBest: that would seem like a strange approach. The updated app isn't going to increase the share price, only new products will do that (and perhaps some decent numbers from the company). If they have new features baked into the new app (perhaps wishful thinking) they can be removed/added as an when. Feedback on the app has been generally negative for a while now, they need to get this new version out as soon as possible.

NO, Mode should at the very least be able to confirm that your visit has been recorded. They'll get there.

They launched the CashBack feature too early as the lack of instant notification has only caused frustration and negative experiences like these. On the plus side your eBay confirmation (and indeed BTC) seems to be coming through 24-48 hours later, and it seems the other vendors do get there eventually - some taking much longer though. Quite why they haven't prioritised the tracking feature is a mystery though, as they've had months to do so.

They probably knew it wasn't ready as was missing key feature, but didn't want to lose face by pausing the BTC CashBack launch. They must spend a lot of time replying to queries on this exact matter. They also need a 'search' feature pronto. They also need to make it clear the difference between instant cashback /paying via Mode / non-instant CashBack and not paying via Mode.

The nuts and bolts are all there and the product is moving in the right direction. Just need to up the pace and quality of delivery. I don't think the app user experience impacts the share price.

All the TG groups have been a joke. Conversation is tightly controlled and "City must be respected" lol. I've never known a share like this with such an odd following.

Keep battling City! Clown. I really hope our collective fortunes turn around here because this is grim. Forget NFTs, that market is dead, and MOSmetaverse is total fantasy. The crappy mobile games might actually bear fruit, that’s our only real route to money here.

I’ll keep my eye on it as there are some decent contributors, but as with here and the other doomed TG groups it’s not exactly an open and healthy debate.

It's another City lovefest I'm afraid - positive sentiment only, all hail the TR1 holder. I've already muted it.

Capsum: just realised the title of your post referred to 'Pay by Mode', so for clarity: that payment method (which currently is only available for a small number of retailers) is not a payment method using Bitcoin. It's an open-banking based payment method where Mode facilitates the transfer of funds from your bank to the retailers bank, thus cutting out the usual middleman (e.g. Visa, MasterCard and so on). Presumably it's cheaper too, hence the hopeful appeal to retailers. It's a busy marketplace though as there are loads of payment methods available these days, and I wouldn't be surprised if Mode no longer sees that as one of their main future business drivers.

Yes you've misunderstood. To earn BTC with Mode's affiliates you pay using your normal payment method. Though I am intrigued as to why you think someone wouldn't want to use a crypto currency as payment method for goods purchased? And how that differs from a purchase directly from Mode? Not everyone holds crytpo purely as an investment to invest, there are many now using crytpo as their default payment method (where possible).

@slippy: 'pay by Mode' is still very much in its infancy, and for the majority of MODE's affiliates BTC cashback is earned when you pay using your normal payment method (Visa, MasterCard etc). I suspect 'pay by Mode' will come back into play properly once we've become more established.

The market has not been given the opportunity to appreciate or value the work done so far. MODE operates as a black box, and always has done. It's infuriating as we have so much to shout about yet we're quiet as a mouse.

I agree, in 3 to 5 years we could very realistically be a major player, so I'm keeping my powder dry here, and maybe between now and then MODE will find it's voice!
