It's not always a good idea to average down, I did this with AAL last year all the way from £34 to £16 and was way to heavy in my portfolio. The best way I find when something falls to much is just leave it alone and concentrate on the portfolio.

The staff at QM systems have been sent home on unpaid leave and they are back Friday at 9.30 for a meeting with the administrators to see if they have a buyer, I can't see how the other part of the group will survive because this will tarnish their credit and creditors will want paying up front.

I've never been one to average down, I trade the trade rather than the average. IE: IF I would of bought 1,000,000 shares @ 3p then bought another 1,000,000 @ 1p then I wouldn't assume I've got 2,000,000 @ 2p I would basically sell the million of the lower price and hope to buy that million back lower to keep nipping the final average down until one day the SP is actually in the blue.

I hope it all works out for you big holders, I really do, I'm only holding 75,000 but the stupid thing is even that is £750 for every 1p rise, my average entry point is 2.24p and I think I would sell 50% at around 4.5p to get my original investment back and leave the other 50% to see where SAE leads as they would be free shares in my portfolio .

Any one know why the tick up today on such a small volume and no news?

I've had a phone call from someone who works there and they might be going into administration as soon as this Friday, they have had a meeting today and they are hoping to get a buyer, if this doesn't happen quickly then it will be administration.

I have no interest here as a shorter or buyer I'm just warning people as I've been trading a long time and I know what its like to get burnt .

I think now with Labour getting in everyone knows where we stand for the next few years, I wouldn't at all be surprised if some bigger company took an interest in this area such as maybe SSE.

Yeah of course, I'm very keen on having debates on various topics as it's a good way to open up to more valued research.

I'm usually only into FTSE 100 stocks, my portfolio is AZN, LGEN, PHNX, BATS, RIO, BA. and recently I have purchased 2 AIM stocks of which are STG & SAE of which I don't usually do but I see a massive upside with little downside on these, however I'm not a massive holder, I only at current hold 75,000 shares in SAE because I realise these AIM stocks can be Volatile.

It was a dig at the report but I was surprised that you would post that sort of content, with your previous posts you are very clued up on the research and the company going forward so I was a little disappointed that you would post content like that? I certainly wouldn't take my posts personal.

You posted about what some company have probably spent 5 minutes looking at the fundamentals and as per usual know nothing.

Debt is not well covered by operating cash flow (17% operating cash flow to total debt).

Answer: The debt that you call it is bonds that all have been deferred until 2029 and SAE have raised the coupon rates to the bond holders approval.

Share price has been highly volatile over the past 3 months (36% average weekly change).

Answer: Well that's obviously as its an AIM stock.

Earnings are forecast to decline by an average of 79% per year for the foreseeable future.

Answer: this is just laughable and totally unresearched.

Personally IMO, Just for debate,

I think I would keep the bonds running as they don't expire until 2029, however the coupon rate is high running between 10-13% and so its expensive credit but also manageable.

What available cashflow they have should be used towards work in progress IMO.

Like I said yesterday I think 24p a share is fair value at present.
