RE: AGM1 Jul 2018 19:00
Good afternoon the few, just back from a wonderful weedend in the lakes with the family, remember all no amount of money can give you days like that.
The reason i say this is i had the pleasure off having a few drinks with Andrew Cochran and Co while watching the football the night before the AGM.
I invested in Wessex all those years back thinking FG was the next big thing and when Halo reversed into us i quickly realised (and invested more) that Cochran was on a mission to carry on his previous hard work add build a reasonable sized oil/gas company but this time as we all know with him being the largest shareholder....need i say more on that really, hes more to gain than anyone even those that bombard him with emails asking the daftest questions imaginable.
I did attend the AGM with one other shareholder who i chatted to after for a few minutes after. Ive been in business myself now 34 years and know when you sit down and chat to someone who has a business plan having already suceeded using that same plan we are all onto a winner, ok yes theTullow deal was out of the blue and is far more than i or any expected at this eary stage but this should just be the start.
I havent any new news to tell folks i wasent expecting any nore given any, all i found out was my hunch was correct and the longer me and other investers stay on board the bigger the rewards.
Some will take the money and run after we relist, and thats there choice me i am lucky enough to get to stay for the long run.
One last thing.... thanks again MT i nearly jumped when we hit the highs a few year back but a coulpe of posts you sent got me thinking.
Anyway to those who worked it out and MT was one of the first and still kept stum.
ALL THE BEST LADS
Yours Paul Richards.
