Thing is I find it hard to be grumpy so I have a giggle once the office door shuts which most of the lads and a lass all know.

Yet another lovely cooked meal with food bought and not caught I’m afraid.
She soon cottoned on after the first hour of enthusiasm after my casting lessons that it was a sit on your arse day all be it in the rain. The other four hours I’d try to be looking out to sea when laughing while several mackerel hooks were entangled in the ferns 20 foot behind her.
Had a good week and to be truthful I love Portugal but if we have to stay on this lovely island for the rest of our days so be it.

He who waits will eventually get his way, nipped into the local fishing tackle shop got a couple of cheap sea rods now off to try our luck off the rocks, back on my kind of sport you can do in the rain…. She’s not happy but I’m excited just like a kid again. Ha.

Was it my suave wining and dinning skills or did my preying for rain come in which it has in bucket loads we will never know, taking the train up or down is apparently cheating. How hard is it to fake being unhappy, I’ve got to carry it on for another hour I reckon ha

I am trying to dissuade the Mrs while cooking her a nice steak with a ome posh wine about giving tomorrow a miss, must of done miles of the coast path today. Let’s see what happens eh, anyway us scaffolders only need 10 woodbine tea shirt shorts and a bottle of brown ale… just like a few year ago we did the 3 peaks in 24 hours even looking back with rose tinted glasses on i remember it hurt a bit.

Abersoch was a bit of a pilgrimage for me this week I’ve watched the old cini camera footage of us when kids on the beach sharing it with cows and horses back in the day.
People did tell me it had changed, ha well Benidorm wasn’t the same back in 66.

1. Made it easy peasy.
2 Had plenty of opportunities to shove the Mrs off the cliffs so I’ll take £2.26
3 she’s not seen me wince once since returning .
4 shall we do it again Friday I snap are you having a f ing laugh…. She knows she’s won.

It’s a challenge thing be it sking surfing swimming anything bar football she’ll try to beat me which is fun because I’ll let her have her day every now and again and today could be one of those days.

OB I’ve been having a giggle re your new syrup.
I’ve manage to persuade the Mrs to up grade to safer accommodation for this week even tho it’s still not bricks and mortar, the wooden boathouse bull bay not getting away with it lightly tho a 20mile coastal path walks on the agenda today…. Jesus women that’s why they invented cars wish me luck.
PS we used to holiday in Abersoch as kids many years ago a boy how they’ve let them destroy that place is unreal.
