PYX Resources: Achieving volume and diversification milestones. Watch the video here.
Have the Sami not heard of Google translate? Suddenly they have realised the political landscape has changed and can no longer rely on inertia.
This is all feeling very positive, particularly the last paragraph re the ore grade quality and sustainability. I think it is just a matter of due process now.
As far as I can see there has been no news from GC and his board of c*ooks for 2 months. Are they planning for the company to be delisted outside of the jurisdiction of the UK with the intent of buying it cheaply to run as a private enterprise. I am struggling to believe this is all just poor errors.
I shall remake a point I have made in the past. The idea that the whole Sami population is involved in reindeer herding is far from the reality, its only about 10%, circa 3,000 individuals or less. The majority of the Sami have the same sort of jobs as the mainstream population. They may well be interested in the livelihoods of their compatriots but are not directly impacted. The Greens have lobbied for a small minority of a small minority and I suspect they are realising their cover is blown.
Yep, but Swedes still a little bit hesitant.
Cautious start in Sweden.
The BoD having successfully destroyed the value of this company, must now use the money raised to get the business back on track and not just line their pockets. In principle, the business is based on a sound idea in the current low carbon climate, but looks to be run by amateurs. I'm so far underwater, no option but to hold now. As Kermit said, its not easy being green.
Went out for a hour or so and Sweden has got quite excited. If the Minister planned to say no to the concession or just procrastinate as per Baylan then I would be surprised he is making so many 'positive' statements. He would only annoy many of his own countryfolk if he backtracks now. GLA.
Something of a recovery in Sweden but we are lagging as per.
Just been offered 8.3 to buy. Not tempted at that price but its coming off today's low in Sweden.
Suzy2. I'm with you, first invested in BEM in 2009! I don't expect straight line growth from here as there will be traders and holders. I have always been of the view that BEM will get the concession and when it does we will have a valuable company with Kallak and few other resources. I may well take the opportunity for addition share buys, as I did yesterday morning, if the SP show some volatility. Each to their own strategy.
The 250mt is an estimated quantity, the confirmed JORC indicated and inferred for both is about 150mt but the entire deposit has not been fully assessed and should over time prove to be more than the JORC figures as would the life span of the mine. Taking into account the the high percentage of iron in the ore (70%+)-60% is quite common place-Kallak should be regarded as a world class deposit.
There tends to be a constant disparity between here and Sweden which tends to be higher than us based on current exchange rates. Others have suggested that volume may play a part but I tend to the view that Sweden has a different type of market-looks to be more auction based whereas we are controlled by MMs pricing. Based on that, parity looks unlikely so 10p looks about where we should be today depending on what happens in Sweden. Ignore todays jump here that was just a correction from yesterday's close.
Peops, slight perplexed by some comments this morning. Sweden currently 1.3 SEK and down 10%. There has always been some disparity between here and Sweden so 12/13p looking rather bullish.
Little bit of early profit taking in Sweden.
davey. I think its about 75% of shares in Sweden and today about £170k worth of shares traded in the UK so still worthwhile business for the MMs. Can't explain the close reported at 7.25 with Sweden showing 40% up on the day. I anticipate a correction in the closing price. Ps, I am not an expert or trader.
Looks to be a bit of a pull back in Sweden, interesting to see if just temporary.
Not being offered a live online quote at the mo with ii. Which way will it go?
As always there is still an element of gamble, however what is BEM worth with a concession, £500m-Kallak is a big high grade resource, 250MT at £100+/ton. For me, I'll hold what I've got and buy on any dips, chances are there will be some over the next few days.
Looks to me if the actions over the past week were designed to sideline the Greens. The Sami effectively have a devolved parliament for 'local decisions'. I don't know how the Sami as a group tend to vote at a national level but if they favour the Green party it would not be a surprise. As a single party, albeit minority, government, decisions can at least be made without consulting coalition partners. Kallak doesn't look to be an issue that needs a parliamentary vote, just a ministerial decision. Fingers crossed all. If the genie is properly out of the bottle, then good luck to those that held their nerve.
