The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring financial educator and author Jared Dillian has been released. Listen here.
"There's not real reason this part of the Gawler couldn't contain IOCG mineralisation, even though it's not known for it," Moulton said.
When we consider the copper/gold/silver discovered at Barns in the last round of drilling we might have hit an IOCG without even knowing it never mind the 4 actual IOCG targets.
Really really need news giving us a heads up on what’s next for this year!
No reply to mine 8 days ago! Somethings up. Very strange to go from Proactive Investors interview and others after last results to total silence. Personally I still think it’s the JV with Andromeda being finalised causing the delay but who knows!?
Sure did which is unusual not getting a reply which leads me to believe there’s something going on in the background!
Could be clutching at straws here but maybe the lack of news is due to the JV being finalised....
Stage Two: At the completion of Stage One, either (i) the Wudinna JV Co can be formed, in which LAM will be entitled to hold 50% of the share capital; or (ii) LAM can spend a further A$1,650,000 within two years after the completion of Stage One to earn a 65% equity interest in the Wudinna Project.
Why has there not been an update on the joint venture since stage one was completed in November letting shareholders know whether they plan to spend and expand to 65% ownership or is the new company (Wudinna JV Co) being formed as we speak?
If this was the case then lack of updates would be understandable as they complete the new company listing and agree on where will be drilled and how much it will cost for the 2021 drilling programme.
Would be nice to know what their plans are sooner than later!!
Nada Carribean!
Getting a bit silly now. Almost 8 weeks since any meaningful news. Surely they could have given some sort of update within 8 weeks even if it was just a resource model update on the targets that had been drilled just to keep the market interested!
Mohuss....no problem. I asked a few relevant questions not just why haven’t we heard anything about 2021 drilling programme!?
They might be able to answer a couple of them in detail they might not!
I emailed Craig (and Simon) this morning so let’s see if/what they reply! Will keep you all posted if/when I get a response.
I’ve got a funny feeling there’s negotiations going on that won’t allow news to be released until complete. If this isn’t the case then Craig has bitten off more than he can chew and needs to get someone else on board to help with analysing results and come up with the 2021 drilling plan!
As far as we know Dillon we’re not currently drilling! I’d imagine Craig is working on updating the models from the last round of drilling then deciding what and where’s next. With any luck in the next 6 weeks we might actually have the drilling plan for 2021!
Taken from the Mining News.net article recently...
“Cobra will work on an updated geological interpretation of the resources, the potential to define a resource at Clarke and plan the next exploration campaign.”
“Another hole returned 1.71% copper, the highest copper hit at Wudinna to date, associated with a gold hit of 33.6gpt.”
"There's not real reason this part of the Gawler couldn't contain IOCG mineralisation, even though it's not known for it," Moulton said.
If you’re reading this any chance you could contact Craig and the team and see if they would be interested in giving an update?
Lack of news is getting a bit silly now. Surely they could have started drilling Larwood/Laker in January using the remaining 3,400m from stage 1?
At this rate we’ll be lucky if we start drilling until H2 2021!
Whilst we wait for an update here’s a list of the companies that received round 1 ADI funding;

Interestingly our JV partner Andromeda got some funding.
Hopefully our name will be on the next update on the 31st March for using pathfinders analysis to unearth an IOCG discovery in the Wudinna Gold Project!
Grab a cuppa and take the time to review this interview from September last year. Always good to look back on what was promised to see how we arrived at the present to push us towards the future. 2021 is going to be a very interesting year for Cobra!

Almost £80k in the kitty from the last two warrants. Only another £40k to go then that’s Craig’s salary covered for the year!
I’m a little surprised we’ve not had any updates for a while. You would think the board would want the momentum to continue into 2021 and be ready to go with the drilling programme for this year. Mid February and none the wiser what’s next.
So what do we think the next update will be?
1. JV confirmation with Andromeda
2. Updated resource definition after stage 1 drilling
3. Drilling commenced
4. 2021 drilling programme
5. Other
I’m pretty certain FN deal is a royalty for Cascabel and not just Alpala so extra £50m could be drawn down and used for Aguinaga/Moran/Blanca/Tanda Etc. It’s a stonking deal for FN!
With all due respect Riaz you don’t know what you’re talking about. June last year market cap was £3m we’re now at £11m and fully funded until the end of 2021 with a significant stage 2 drilling programme to be announced soon.
5x5....I’ve been in SolGold from the Solomon Gold days so a long long long term holder! This is the Cobra forum so I’ll keep it brief. One of the top 10 undeveloped resources in the world. CEO Nick Mather just stepped down (given the boot!?) lots of uncertainty other than the amount of Gold/Copper/Silver at Alpala and lots more to come at other regional projects. Do your own research as there’s a lot of uncertainty at the moment given elections and the PFS!
