The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
For clarity,
HL ask that you have the money in your account before taking it out to TRY and purchase any additional shares requested.
If they can then you get them.
If they can't then they put the money back in.
A lot of people seem to be assuming that that they can get the additional shares.
Trust this helps.
Good luck, bottom feeder.
I doubt you are on your own.
No doubt the company want to announce "over subscribed" but they may well want to add a few £million to the bank account as well.
Here's hoping.
Onwards Avacta or Avacta Group.
Looking at official RNSs, from the one that's relevant:
Dr Alastair Smith, Chief Executive Officer of Avacta Group, commented:
"We are very much encouraged by this recommendation from the SDMC to move onto the fourth dose cohort in our ongoing ALS-6000-101 Phase 1 dose escalation study. This very positive progress reflects the safety profile and tolerability demonstrated in patients enrolled in the study to date."
Sounds pretty upbeat to me.

... reckons it will be busy this week and has laid on a fleet of "Numpty Buses" to cater for the rush we appear to have on at the minute.
These buses cater for anyone who says one thing but means another and/or who are clueless about Avacta and/or who don't have any shares in the company.
They are in addition to The Muppet Bus, which is now back in work following the cut cable that connects Shetland to the mainland. We believe this was done by a Russian submarine that was near to Shetland at the time.

It started well early doors when Helium was up but feathers were down just after so no change overall.
Paper was stationary and Fluorescent tubing was dimmed in light trading, so the day started looking bad.
Then Knives were up sharply, though pencils lost a few points and Hiking equipment was trailing.
Thankfully, Elevators rose, while escalators regrettably continued their slow decline.
Weights were up in heavy trading, which was pleasing.
To my dismay, Mining equipment hit rock bottom. but Diapers remained unchanged.
Then the market for raisins dried up and Balloon prices became inflated.
It wasn't going well when Toilet Paper touched a new bottom.
So far I am slightly down with a bit of time left.

Hello, Wyndrum,
Your post says "AVCT was exactly the same company it was when the SP was 280p and 42p."
Is it?
I would have thought that becoming a clinical stage therapeutic company, now with a bolstered diagnostics arm, isn't quite the same as it was but that is only my opinion of course.
More than happy to agree to disagree as no doubt we would on this topic.
In terms of people posting things they "have found on the internet", that seems quite useful for the discussion board, which, I think, is also on the internet.
Onwards Avacta.
All of us that post or just read this board are well aware of the potential of Avacta.
However, how many people is that?
Fifty? Maybe a hundred? Who knows but there aren't thousands of people that are aware of Avacta and it's many shots on goal.
This will only occur when one of the shots is converted and whether we like it or not, the, let's say 100, won't have a massive effect on the sp that thousands could have.
Energyshares has posted before what the shots are and they include:
AVA6000
AVA 3996
LG Chem with XT
Affyxell with MSC therapies
Point Biopharma with radio ligands
The "new" global reach Diagnostics Division
I don't think there will be any sp disconnect when AS shouts "goal".
