Some of Britain�s biggest gambling operators are targeting children with their favourite cartoon and storybook characters in online betting games, an investigation by The Sunday Times reveals today. Operators are exploiting a loophole in the rules that allows them to promote games that appeal to children without breaching Gambling Commission rules. Stakes on the games range from 1p to �600. The games � many of which can be played for free without registration or any age-verification checks � include Peter Pan on the Paddy Power website; Jack and the Beanstalk on the 888 website with a minimum bet of 20p and maximum bet of �200; and Moon Princess on the Casinoland website with a minimum stake of 20p and maximum stake of �100. Utterly disgraceful, all gambling/betting should be banned including spread betting, it serves no purpose other than to make the house take money, the fact that they are now targeting kids is a step too far and the Government needs to stamp this out for the children of the futures sakes. it is quite clear that the ultra negative posters that have been hounding SLE on this site and others are clearly defending positions in the market, we know they are not short sellers, we know they do not hold shares, as if they did hold shares they would have attended the latest AGM, the mere fact that nobody that attended the AGM had any negative comments or questions towards the board reiterates the fact that the incessantly negative posters do not hold a single share between them and for there to be so many similar posting characters from several sights leads one to come up with the only viable possibility, which is defending bets that have been taken out in the market for the share price to increase in San Leon. Surely this should be illegal and punishable and once San Leon have been taken over I will also be going after these culprits to bring them to justice if possible. I am disappointed that San Leon themselves have not been active on this front, as if it were my company being deliberately targeted and manipulated I would spend as much as was needed to bring those responsible to account. It is in part these bashers and position defenders that will lead to a takeover price far lower than otherwise would have been reached had the share price been allowed to rise on news of the first approach. As I have stated previously the current share price bares no resemblance to the final take over price that will be achieved. someone didn't like the truth and reported a post of mine, apparently it was against FCA rules as it was deemed libellous and defamatory along with accusatory in its content. Well LSE moderators, I stand by what I said, as when one speaks the truth and has PROOF to back that up its hardly libellous or defamatory, or even accusatory, it is what it is, cold hard truth unfortunately. Also and FYI, I am already in communication with the FCA so I would actually welcome you contact them regarding my posts, the cat will be out the bag that much quicker then, however I would advise against it now as when it does come out it will be damaging for even discussion sites such as LSE. Lastly moderators, are you categorically stating that persons connected to spread betting companies and market making etc do not post on LSE discussion forums?
