It's all about the narrative. If Zen can get a few successes under their belt, the fresh drills later this year will bring in the 88e/Angus/Ukog crowd jump in, and that's where you see hugely inflated mcaps. If these drills are successful then the Mcap sees true value.
Well, they are maintaining output, including the shut-ins, which is actually an achievement in an old field. Oil price is the heart of the business, so if that's leading to record revenues, great. Zardab is crucial for increasing output in the short term, but at least in the meantime output is stable and revenue at record levels.
Are we all in the same boat? Some people here are longterm, with an eye on the horizon. Some are pretending to be long term, whilst in fact trading the feck out of it. Some are manipulators, and some genuine. Short, long, and some caught in a rotten trade. Some are bitter, impatient, angry, optimistic. Same boat? Nah We are all in separate dinghies ;) Most with leaks in.
I'd be perfectly happy to leave it as a long term investment, but we've been given little reason to have much faith over the last 6 months. I'm still invested and just waiting to see how it plays out in April/May, but like many, not as confident as I was last year.
Yes, I was thinking it was interesting timing that he should disappear in a puff of smoke now the bucket shop brokers are under the microscope. I suspect a few LSE avatars have gone awol the last few days. It was so obvious he was not who he said he was in terms of his cover story and his motivations. Intheno - Ill check out your post.
With regards a hostile move. He has 3.56% of the company, so surely he'd need a much bigger percentage? I'm really not familiar with such things, so interested to hear an opinion as to how/why. In my mind he has a belief that Zen will be worth more than 7p in a few months time, so is buying cheap shares.
Totally - it stinks of desperation, and it's clear he's looking to sell. A one man pump and dump, but he'll need more volume than two trades all morning.
Interesting answers, many thanks for your replies. I looked into Nuuvera earlier and that seemed very interesting. Im not up to speed on crypto\blockchain at all though! Ill take a look at Factom. There clearly seems to be some positive FFWD sentiment at the mo, but there were a lot of large sells going through on Friday afternoon. Any thoughts as to what that was about? Cheers.
Im new to Ffwd, but how do people value the net assets currently? They were listed as 12.2 million at the end of Sept 17, so the current mcap of 22.3 million seems high, or not?
I was going to buy and hold, but ended up selling @224, and like you will jump back in if I can catch it. Just keeping an eye on the oil price, but I'd have thought there would be decent support here at 200 if oil remains above $65 The results are out on the 7th Feb, so I think it will start heading back up in expectation, so maybe a case of how low will it drop in the next two weeks before the next leg up.
