Have you also considered that it may also be that the Institutional Investors are maintaining the current price just in case the company needs further funding from them, which would obviously further increase their holdings. Just my tuppence worth.

I think there is more tinkering than just one shorter.

Dark pool block trades between institutional investors and their custodians, whether the II's hold the shares in a nominee account or directly, it matters not. This block trade strategy is completely legal and within regs. I could be wrong, but this is what I believe has been happening since the last placement. GLA

I totally agree with you Brombarb. It is very difficult, especially so, as not all institutions are required to report, and then there are varying reporting requirements depending on their geographical jurisdiction. (UK/US/EU etc) Some of these are major international companies and they know exactly how to fly undetected in stealth mode.

LSE AIM doesn't help with it's relaxed reporting requirements, especially since Brexit, and the lack of reporting requirements for trades off-book.

Hence the II's and their custodians can legally apply block trades via a dark pool, which IMO, I suspect is what we have been observing since the last placement.

I totally get why they would do this, to protect their investment first of all and secondly should PANR require further capital in the future, then any raise would be at a price favourable to them. The name of the game for the II's is to own as much of the equity as possible, before the company really takes off.

From a retail investor's perspective it is very reassuring to know that some of the big boys have their sights firmly on PANR. Good Luck!

As far as I am aware there is no breach of AIM Rule 26 providing an Institutional Investor declares when they pass the 3% holding threshold. There is no specific rule breach if an institutional investor holds less than 10%.

Hargreaves Lansdown ~ 8.8%

Charles Schwab ~ 8.6%

UBS Asset Management ~ 6%

Other notable institutional investors holding between 3% and 8% include a few asset managers such as Artemis Investment Management and Fidelity.

These institutional investors can also trade off-book using dark pool trades, using a block trade strategy, which would correlate with what we have observed since the last placement.

It’s us again — the Retail Resistance — still here, still caffeinated, still wondering if “market manipulation” is just the polite way to say “institutional choreography.”

We do understand, of course, that roughly two-thirds of Pantheon Resources now rests in the manicured hands of institutional investors. That means when they decide to conduct a little block-trade ballet, you, dear Max, are more spectator than choreographer. The share price, in turn, performs its well-rehearsed routine — a graceful pirouette around 25p, the post-placing comfort zone we’ve all come to know and love (or at least tolerate).

We don’t blame you — every CEO knows the golden rule: when your major shareholders sneeze, the share price catches a cold. But perhaps you might whisper in their ear that retail morale is a finite resource. We’re still holding the fort (and our shares), but our refresh buttons are starting to show visible wear.

In the meantime, we’ll keep the faith, the memes, and the spreadsheets. Because while institutions may own the bulk of the stock, we still own the comment sections — and the patience of saints.
