Evening Quady - I saw a BBC news item today which reported that the USA energy costs are ONE QUARTER of those in the UK. Why do you suppose that is? Maybe that they still value Oil & Gas? In the UK we’re being led down a very costly ridiculous green pathway by the government. Goodness help us all !!!!

Quady just answer Monte’s question. When will the average household be seeing a real cut in their fuel bills? People are really financially hurting out there - while the green agenda is forced down their throats!

Quady, I’m a layman, but I find the idea of EV batteries lasting for 30 years to be fanciful. And I’d be interested to know who’s made such a prediction and how impartial they are? And also, what % of battery power would still exist in a much older battery. (I’m using battery singular - but aware that EVs have many batteries).

People promoting EVs never seem to mention 1) their extra weight causing more wear to road surfaces, 2) due to 1) they produce extra tyre-dust air pollution, 3) what happens to all of their batteries at the end of their life? and 4) how can poorer people who might normally buy a 10 year old ICE car, possibly take such a gamble buying a 10 year old EV who’s battery might give out in the near future, with a new one costing around £10,000?

Hi Rodney - and yet still no TR1’s - that in itself I find odd. But imo the FCA is so ineffective and weak (the Financial Conduct Authority - the regulator of these things for those who don’t know), that alas I’m not surprised

Despite the big bull run we’ve enjoyed over recent months - as other posters have noted (from a pathetically low level, it has to be said), the share price is STILL significantly below where it should be.

Value WILL out eventually I’ve absolutely no doubt, but it’s taking many, many years longer than I anticipated - and possibly than it should have done, due to previous management ! 🙄

Add, if I were you I’d respectfully give up trying to reason with needalife. I have. Nearly all of his posts are directed to other posters rather than directly about SolGold. But I guess what’s a paid deramper (imo) to do?

In a recent rating I read, I seem to recall that Oxford & Cambridge were down at 5th & 6th place (I can’t remember in which order). Quite a wake up call for the old-guard, although it’s still who you know and all that …….

Quady I think it’s the political climate in Ecuador that’s probably been the main blocker to a bid. Too much uncertainty. But things seem to be much better on that score nowadays.

Quady do you actually think that anyone on here believes (or indeed cares about) all of these careers and qualifications you claim to have? I’ve never ever seen any other poster anywhere, who routinely talks about their qualifications.
