The current situation appears to me to have been precipitated by the years and years and YEARS of bungled management here. The glacial timeframes have been enough to test the patience of a Saint! It really should never have come to this but there’s no point in crying over spilt milk, although it doesn’t prevent me from being very angry about it all. We live and (hopefully) learn…….,

Bozi - you’re absolutely correct of course to say that nobody knows a major investors’ intentions when they initially buy-in, but let’s not give what’s seemingly going on here justification as being ‘normal’. My words not yours. IMO what’s going on here appears to be extremely abnormal and extraordinary. Unless my maths needs correcting, why would BHP for example be ‘happy’ to hand over their shares for 28p when their average must surely be significantly higher? It just doesn’t make any sense - and that’s what’s really doing my fruit in here !

Eloro, I’m starting to worry about you too - just as you’re worrying about Rodney. You’ve turned all (relatively bearish) and seem to accept defeat in having your tummy tickled for a measly 28p. Is it all based on this ‘contact’ you’ve been citing? Where’s your fighting and investing spirit seemingly evaporated to?

More power to Rodney’s arm and other bullish posters here, who are keeping up the good fight and belief. It may ultimately be in vain, but for goodness sakes, don’t hand over the family silver gold and copper until the last possible chance of bettering 28p is exhausted. Just my own opinion

I’m glad today’s ‘events’ happened pre-AGM rather than post-AGM because at least the directors are going to have to turn up to the AGM and look investors in the eye. I use the term ‘events’ to keep my post civil - because I’d much rather use a very fruity description !

Those of us holding shares this evening have to hope that 28p won’t be the final sale price, and that there will be another positive twist in this saga……..

I think even NAL’s given up trolling this share (now I’ve said it), so we’re basically looking at one sad & lonely troll keeping on banging that little drum. Today appears to have been a TA trading day after the recent double-top, and/or tree shake. Upwards momentum will hopefully resume shortly, and more good news from the company this week would be the catalyst. Gla - except trolls

I refuse to believe that the Chinese will be allowed to get SolGold’s precious assets without a serious bidding contest being mounted by one, two or more Western miners - maybe even in some sort of agreed pact. Is that a possibility I wonder?

While imo the Chinese 26p approach was derisory, I am grateful for it because it’s shaken things up and no doubt focused minds - not least of which being our own BoD. The cat & mouse game now appears to be in play (at long last). Bring it on ! :D
